Vanessa Hudgens is Katsu-Ya Covered Up
Paparazzi-shy Vanessa Hudgens hides her face from photographers as she makes her way into Sushi Katsu-Ya for dinner on Saturday in Studio City, Calif.
The 19-year-old High School Musical sweetheart was seen hiding her face as she was denied a seat at the restaurant.
Vanessa then jumped in her car with her mother Gina and little sister Stella. The family then bolted home to order for delivery!
UPDATE: A rep for Katsu-Ya exclusively tells JustJaredJr.com they are deeply sorry for not being able to seat Vanessa: “There were no available tables and the management was extremely sorry they could not accommodate her.”

if she doesnt like the paps which apparently she doesnt she shouldnt go to katsuya! This girl thinks shes a big celebrity and hides her face cuz she thinks her picture is worth something and i bet its only worth a considerable amount when shes with zac. If she doesnt want to be bothered she shouldnt always go to places full of papparazi!
No one should use their celebrity to get in anywhere && I am glad she did not. It’s not a big deal if she didn’t get a table because it was full and I don’t sure Vanessa is crying over it. This is not a big deal.
It’s just sad that blogs feel the need to make this a negative thing by using words like denied making it seem as though she was told to get out. JJJ may not have had that intention but then they should think more carefully before posting because “denied” is the only thing other blogs caught on and they spun their own dramatic stories.
&& All celebs cover their faces, her pap pictures get posted everywhere so they kinda are worth something and by now its obvious that she gets papped anywhere she goes, this restaurant is no exception.

Why do people think celebrities should be happy when some man practically runs you down, shouts stupid questions at you, and then wants a picture? I can understand her frustration at being photographed just trying to go to eat. I think all celebs understand that being photographed is part of what comes with it, but it would get on anyones nerves at times.
There have been so many comments, some positive and some negative on lots of sites about this incident. Haters would hate on Vanessa if she was smiling and posing for the camera. It really does not matter. We should all thank them because they give her hits and for celebrity sites that is all that matters.

It’s the holiday weekend! A busy Japanese restaurant that you can’t get into no matter who you are WITHOUT a reservation. She was denied a table because she didn’t have one. Not because who she is.
And WTF people? Suddently since JJ reported that she was denied a table, he doesn’t like her anymore? You all need to take a step back and off your soapbox long enough to realize that he does like her - not because she gets him hits on his site, but because she’s honorable and admirable and a generally gracious person.
she is not emmbaressed. she’s trying to hide from the paps who i personally think should give her a break. and the fame is not going to her or Ashley’s heads. the paps are annoying and they never get one moment of peace in their life. JJ needs to grow up and stop playing favorites, “denied a seat” PLEASE. the restaurant was simply full. easy as that. JJ would neve rdo that to Ashley or anybody else. Britany Spears gets more praise from JJ than Vanessa does.
Oh, and stop saying zanessa broke up. V lives on private property now which means zac can go there without getting photographed every second. i am happy for them.

Sorry ,Jared I saw the update after I commented I’m really sorry.
First, Vanessa’s ring is on for those who continually think she is not wearing it. Rarely is she seen NOT wearing it. 99% of the time it is on her RIGHT hand. This ha been stated at least a milion and two times.
Technically, Vanessa did get denied a table BUT NOT because she was not wanted in the restaurant. It was because there were NO TABLES to be had. We all have been to restaurants particularly on the weekend where there were no available tables at the time we were there but if you would want to wait then you can. But I would think everyone—even the idiots—can understand with all the paps standing around with cameras that Vanessa is not going to stand in line for even 10 minutes.
And the website in #89 is just one of those sites that want to make Vanessa look bad and those people who do not know very much about Vanessa will believe that garbage and run with it. I think those kinds of reports are horrible because they are jut out there to start rumors—or what I prefer to call it LIES.
So, about Jared: he may not have meant to be insulting when he used the word denied since he may have been going by that stupid article previously mentioned. OR he may have chosen the word denied so as to generate more hits. BUT JARED, if you would put Vanessa back on the ADULT board of JJ—-you always have Suri Cruise there—you know how many hits you have always gotten with her there and you wouldn’t have to stoop to these low levels to get them here with your junior celebrities where Vanessa doesn’t belong. She was good enough for JJ for the past nearly 18 months, why not now?
Thanks for the update, Jared, but it still doesn’t explain why you have shoved Vanessa over to the junior list on JJJ when she has proven for over a year she deserves to be on JJ. I also see there is yet another thread about Suri Cruise who seems to be your favorite at this time.

Yup, got to agree with Karen. JJ why, Oh why did you put Vanessa’s threads on JJjr. when she has so many adult, young and old and mature teenage fans? Vanessa does not deserve the bashing she gets here from mentally immature posters.
Are you trying to imply that she is a role model for the young fans and hence this site? Well, I’m afraid that there are alot of corrupted youngsters around who are using bullying tactics if nothing else to poison the minds of others. At least on the senior JJ site, we get more positve comments from passing observers.
still strugling with that too….I emailed J and asked him this. I”m an older fan and really could care less coming on here to post and check on her with the babies around/
