David Archuleta Has A Heart of Hope
American Idol alum David Archuleta will lend his voice to the Holiday of Hope Tree Lighting this Saturday, December 6th, benefiting One Heartland, an organization committed to improving the lives of children impacted by HIV/AIDS.
The 17-year-old musician will join host Ellen K from 102.7 KIIS FM and brothers Kyle and Christopher Massey at the star-studded event. Kids are invited to get creative by decorating an ornament, button or holiday cookie at the Ralph’s Decoration Station.
There will also be a VIP Pre-Reception for guests who donate $100 or more to One Heartland’s website and will include a private performance by David as well as the opportunity to mix and mingle with celebrity guests in attendance at the event.

Hallie, he is a little breathy because he has a paralyzed vocal chord, which affects his breathing when he sings.

David Archuleta is the sweetest, kindest, most talented young man around these days. He is the same no matter where he is…he has a wonderful heart and will do anything for anybody. I hope he has all the success he get because he deserves it. I wish everyone would support this young man by buying his music. He has a cd out now and his single Crush went platinum in a matter of weeks. I think he is amazing and a great role model for his generation.
This is an amazing charity! David will be a great addition to the event. his talent is incredible and he is an excellent role model for youth today.

David is a wonderful person — I met him twice at the Idol tours this summer, and he is quite genuine. I am as much a fan of the person as I am the voice.
David Archuleta has heart of hope, peace, love, kindness, truth….a heart of goodness. David is not only amazingly talented; he is also an incredible, amazing, beautiful human being.
David is the most compassionate person his age I have ever seen. He loves everyone including critics. He sings from his heart and gives from his heart. He is someone who will be around for a long time. This is not just a teen singer.

gengen: I know he has a paralyzed vocal chord. I am a huge Archie supporter. I just made the breathy comment because that is always everyones complaint about his singing, so i was saying I love him despite the fact that some people dislike the breathyness…. i think it makes him unique.
