Zac Efron On Drugs? Say It Ain’t So!
It ain’t so.
But if Zac Efron signs on for the much-talked about sequel to the 2007 movie musical Hairspray, his character Link Larkin would!
Producer Marc Shaiman tells MTV that the sequel would be a true John Waters-type film. But what about the plot? He shares, “People hate Tracy (Nikki Blonsky) because she doesn’t lose weight. They ask ‘Now that you’re famous, why won’t you lose weight?’. And Link (Efron) experiments with drugs. Throughout half the movie, he has an ongoing dialogue with three pimples on his forehead. Edna (John Travolta) loses weight, but sees her husband (Christopher Walken) lusting after fat women. And so, she finally breaks down and runs over to a snack table. Just within one number, she gets fat again; gaining 20 pounds at a time. [Her fat] pops out, and by the end of the song she’s completely at her old weight again.”

the first film was amazing and they’ll wreck it by doing another!
maybe, zac is great actor, but this movie… i don’t know. The first Hairspray is the best musical that i’ve ever seen, so, let’s see…

This plot doesn’t sound good at all…I’m trying to see the humor behind it all…NOPE…don’t see it…at least the first Hairspray had some realism to it…yes, in the 60’s pop culture was about drugs, sex, rock and roll…fashion…and being overweight wasn’t a conscious issue…I can see the two Turnblad ladies keeping their weight on…not giving into these hysterics of being thin….I can see Link becoming a rebel but, not heavily into the drug culture, he’s too much of a lady’s man and into his good looks and sexiness…Besides, he comes from a family that wants the best for him and would like to see him become famous, not infamous for overindulging in illegal substances. Or, he could get into smoking pot and doesn’t like it…this could be a roll model thing…don’t do drugs…it’s bad for ya…and Tracys’ support to not overeat, but keep dancing to stay fit and voluptously curved.
Don’t know, just lettin’ my mind race.
Sequels are only great when you get the same actors from the first one. Other than that, they are bound for failure…case proves with many other movies…with some exceptions.
#33 Krissy Fantasy, Yes, Zac doesn’t swear…but, I’ve heard him cussin’ before, not in the same sentence, and at different times..He’s said…$HIT..and he’s also said the word…A$$HOLE…hmmm, yeah, he’s a good boy…that’s alright in my book too.

teens and kids, picture a 10 year old
who wants to watch the movie because Zac Efron
from High School Musical is in it.

i dont think they should make hairspray 2 because that would ruin the movie and that plot is bad.i agree with a lot of u about how kids look up to zac and if they see this it will give them the wrong idea.i love zac but nikki is trouble cause if u ever watch interviews with them she is soo flirting and trying to take vanessa from zac.if they do this movie zac will probably break up with v and that would not be good and trust me im not saying i hate nikki because im glad shes ok in her own skin but she is a little over the top when she talks about her self.

I love Hairspray and Zac Efron loads, but you just can’t do a sequel to it. You know there are some films which should just stay as they are!?!
I also don’t want Zac to get type-cast! It’s a great actor, and he’s already gonna be doing Footlose, so not another musical!

i never thought i’d say this but….
i dont think they should do hairspray 2. hairspray 07 was genius. i fell in love with it. it remains my favorite movie of all time. i was ALL FOR hairspray 2 until i just read the plot. this is horrible. pathetic. and i honestly don’t think any of the cast will be up for this one.
In my opinion…… it sounds horrible!!! I’m sooooo not going to see it!
NO! God, this must be a fake plot because NO one i know would EVER go see that movie. Plus, Hairspray isn’t sequal material. Come up with something Original People! if you can’t, go to a place like FanFic and make a movie off of one of the stories there.
of course i really love zac efron and i will see all his movies.
