how could you hate nikki and not hate vanessa. i mean COME ON!! she had naked photos done of herself and you still like her. i mean, she can be forgiven but she wont just be the same person she was seen as before. zac can do much better than that. she can be cute and all that, but she’s not enough woman for such man as zac.

this is very plausible. it’s been written by JOHN WATERS. he’s kmown for writing craked out, not the norm kind of scripts, it’s what created him.

do i think zac will take this role? for the right VERY HIGH price, yes. anything that has been leaked from the plot is nothing that zac supports, so for him to forgo his morals for a role it’s going to take a lot to clear his concience. aaand if everyone but him signs on, which i also think is doubtful, i’m sure he’ll be peer pressured into joining.

thoughts on hairspray 2-the first released last year was my abs. favorite. i watched it daily after it came out on dvd. i also love the broadway play very much. the ONLY thing that would make me watch it would be zac’s appearance because either way, the plot is going to sucks. there is no where to go from the first movie, without going into a new era. no stone was left unturned. being a big fan of everything hairspray, i am very unhappy with the way this rumor is infolding.

and as for type casting zac, this porbably won’t be coming out for a few more years, so by then he’ll have two movies released, and begining production on footloose so he won’t have done musicals for a while. buuuut he does need to stay away from that genre of film.

Coming from another maria, yeah, we still LOVE Vanessa. She’s strong, made a mistake, and gathered herself together and moved on with courage!!! GOTTA LOVE THAT!!! So glad you’re so perfect that you can throw stones at someone else.

Loved Hairspray and Zac and Nikki were fabulous. The people who say it was awful must have not read or heard about the great success it was at the box office. All the Zanessa fans hate Nikki and the fact that she and Zac are still friends is just a downer to them. Get over it….. they are actors playing a role so YES I would love to see them reprise their roles and see HS2. It was a super musical and peoples of all ages and around the world loved it as did I. so I say go for it and make us all smile again!!

Yes I would go see it! I just love that doll Nikki and Efron was quite good too. I actually think that movies put him on the map because it was seen not only by teens but by all age groups and it had great success. Go for it Zac. You and Blonsky make a darling couple.

No. Hairspray is supposed to be a PG movie that is suited for young children and families to watch. I really don’t think that adding three pimples to a 21 year old sex symbol & makung him expirement with drugs; and making the plot revolve around the situations of a ‘fat’ issue in the family will work.
I might just for Zac, because he truly is gorgeous and is a great actor, but Nikki Blonsky irks me, and the plot seriously makes me laugh.
Possibly? But, i’ll definitely be seeing 17 Again.

This movie line is so offbeat, with the pimples issue, drugs and dieting/slimming that it sounds bizarre. Certainly not recommended for young teens and tweenies.

I don’t know that Zac wouldn’t do a movie about drugs but I don’t think he would do one that made it seem funny or glamorized in any way. I think a subject of drug use and Zac would have to be a serious matter with a more adult story to it.

Some “Zanessa” fans may be against him doing HS2 because they are strictly against seeing him with Nikki but some Zac fans who are also fans of Z&V as a couple don’t want him doing this movie because they are afraid it is overkill on the musicals plain and simple. They also don’t like such an off-beat storyline. Some who are in the latter group used to even support Nikki but may not now just because she has proven how she never knows when to keep her mouth shut and respect her “good friend’s” privacy. She always is right ready to bring up his name and it looks like she does that—-whether it be true or not—just to gain attention. You don’t hear Amanda Bynes or Britney”(sp) Snow—or any other of his friends—talking about Zac any chance they get.

uhm not at all. Even if Zac Efron thought the plot was good enough to pursue the role of Link Larkan again I would not watch Hairspray 2. The plot seems horrific. And if ZAc is truly serious about his acting career he would never sink this low into doing a sequel to Harispray. It just should not be done. Enough Musicals. Zac I want to see you act.
