Emma Watson: I’m Thrilled Hermione & Ron Are Together
Emma Watson is anxious to start filming the final chapter in the Harry Potter series and told MTV what she’s looking forward to most: Ron & Hermoine.
The 18-year-old actress dished that she’s thrilled that her character, Hermione Granger, ended up with Ron Weasley, played by Rupert Grint in the films. She shares, “Ron was the right person for her to be with. I think it was amazing that they had kids. It was perfect.”
Emma also shared what scenes she’s looking forward to film the most: “The scene that really touched me is Ron’s betrayal of Hermione, him leaving her. There’s that wonderful scene where he comes back and Hermione just launches herself at him and starts hitting him and is uncontrollably angry at him and disappointed in him for abandoning her. I’m looking forward to that because it felt very real when I read it.”
Her new movie, The Tale of Despereaux, hits theaters on December 19th.

no one should compare hp to twilight never!
i think hp is better for reasons hp really does have a meaning while twlilight is just another romance novel with action that is revolved around the romance
She always sounds so fake about it, like she’s trying to believe it herself. Maybe that because rupert’s kind of gross. Can’t see Hermione with Rpn at all. Ew. Ya, i want Hermione to be with Harry! They are just so cute together.

Let’s all be clear here - Emma Watson said she liked the ending with Ron and Hermione.
It does not mean she likes Rupert, in that manner.
I understand all thr R/H shippers and the equally the H/H shippers, and that’s all good debate because their characters in the series of books.
I admit there is some sort of on screen chemistry between Dan and Emma, but that also doesn’t mean that Emma fancies Dan or the other way around. What I got from the books is that Hermione is Harry’s best friend, in a loyal, stand by his side at all costs kind of friend. And Ron is Harry’s best friend too, but its susceptible to bouts of jealously, and during the series has a couple of bad fallouts with Harry. This sort of explains why Hermione in the film is kind of clingy on Harry, with the hugs, and mothering him almost, because in the books, Hermione is prone to overprotectiveness of Harry, which I guess is what Emma is trying to convery when she’s jumping all over Dan.
I just don’t get how people could even contemplate Emma fancying Rupert - there hasn’t been anything between the two of them except how much they both are dreading the kissing scene.
I wouldn’t go so far as saying he’s gross, he’s not. And looks aren’t everything…some guys are so plastic and not so fantastic personality wise. At least Rupert has good comedic timing.
Never say never, but as of now, she’s not that into him, and clearly he’s not that into her, otherwise they would be together, tabloids or no tabloids.
I sure hope the trio of actors get through the kissing scenes without too much trouble. It sure sounds like it will be awkward for everyone, based on what all 3 actors have said about the romance element in the last book.
