Jennette McCurdy & Nathan Kress: iCarly Kisses!
iCarly stars Jennette Mccurdy and Nathan Kress are ready to take their bickering-friends relationship to a whole new level.
The duo (both 16) who star as Sam and Freddy on Nick’s hit show, iCarly, will welcome in the first new episode of the new year with a kiss. Jennette dished to Tiger Beat, “We did the scene four times! I was trying not to count how many times I kissed Nathan, because I knew the bigger deal I made out of it, the harder it would be. But after doing it four times, I just knew how to get it done. You do what you got to do.”
In the next new episode, Sam (McCurdy) overhears Freddy (Kress) make a confession that he’s never been kissed, and she reveals this secret on Carly’s Web show. The new episode of iCarly airs Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 @ 8PM ET/PT on Nick!

I must be one of the few people who does NOT want to see these two get together. WAY too weird. I agree with whoever said they don’t have any romantic chemistry whatsoever. They are cute, but in a brother sister kind of way. I can’t see them as anything else, not seriously at least.
And 16? No way! They look 14 at the most.
I knew it was coming. They were just fighting so much no one would have guessed it!! And why not, Freddie is cute!!!!!!!!!
@st: i was addressing the above commenters who are amazed and astounded that people who ostensibly hate each other have ended up kissing. romance stories–from cheesy Harlequin paperbacks to Austen’s Pride and Prejudice–tread the familiar terrain of squabbling antagonists who eventually fall in love with each other. the “i-hate-you/”i-love-you” back and forth. i’m not saying i disagree that they DON’T like each other; i’m saying wtf at the wtf’s.
yes, and sam is mean to everyone, but sam has not kissed everyone smack dab on the mouth either.
how do we know if they have romantic chemistry or not when we haven’t ever seen them have the slightest romantic interaction? i think these two young actors are skilled enough to deliver the oomph if it’s required of them.
I’m sorry, but come on! Sam and Freddie are adorable together! And if you actually WATCH the episodes, you’d find that they do have a lot of “moments”.
Ew! Those two together? My sister watches this show religiously and even she can’t see it. And I don’t either for that matter. They hate each other. And not in a cute, unresolved feelings type of way. It’s more of a, rude, pick on each other like relatives kind of way. I’ve watched enough TV to know when there’s a vibe between certain characters…and I don’t feel that vibe between them. That is going to be SO awkward, and iCarly has a LOT of awkward moments.

I think this episode was good in the sense of the insane drama to come. I mean, it was awesome when this happened on Dawson’s Creek with Pacey and Joey. It’s the best when two people who should hate each other actually end up liking each other. Especially when one of them has been saying they love another character the whole time.
I think this is one big plot to get Freddie and Carly together. We all know Carly is going to freak when she learns about this, even if it leads to nothing. She, after all, is the one who gets Sam to apologize.
Wow, I hate this. I really thought carly and freddy would have a thing… Guess not. =/

WoW!! i cannt believe they kissed!! anyway, they are 16, what i thought they were at least 14 or so. and also that was a long kiss. it was like forever. you know i would really enjoy being on the show. it would be like awesome. i am 11 years old. e-mail me if you need another character, i would be more then welcome to!! the show was great!! i wonder what the next epoisode will be about
