Michael Copon: I’m Not Jacob Black…Yet
Hoping for the role of a lifetime, Michael Copon opened up to PopStar.com and dished about becoming a part of the Twilight empire.
The 26-year-old former One Tree Hill bad boy cleared up all the rumors floating around the internet about filling Taylor Lautner’s shoes in the role of Jacob Black. He shared, “I think that it is pretty clear that there are huge rumors going around the Internet about me up for the role as Jacob Black. At this point, they are only rumors. There are a lot of opinions going around on the Internet about this role. It is definitely a role of a lifetime and I would love to have that chance.”

we is really hadsom and hot,,, and i think he covers the spectations for Jabob Black… and while I was reading the book, New moon and eclipce, I was things jacob black as steven staigth and i have been talking with my friends and we think it will be amaizing if steven straight were jaboc black…, he made an exellent work in 100 000b.c. and in sky high…. please think about it…..

no, they definitely need to keep taylor, this guy looks old and not at all native american. i HATE when characters are switched in sequels with different actors. so confusing and annoying.
This is an IMMENSELY horrible idea.
Taylor has been working SO hard for this movie and it really shows in his build, not to mention the fact that he practically has a blackbelt, so he’ll be SICK in the fighting scenes.

Taylor already made the part come to life. Taking it away from him would seriously kill Jacob as well.

i hate when people are replaced in the sequels.
i really hate the thought of an actor getting replaced by another actor to reprise in the same role. Even though i haven’t seen Twighlight nor read any of the books i feel its unfair to gip an actor of “their” sequels . When you get hired to play a character you should keep the same actor for all of the movies . If the Harry Potter movies could do it why not Twighlight??

It’s an Eclipse thing…
I have been a fan of Michael for a while now, and I was excited to hear about him possibly taking over the role. But now that I’ve read the books, I can’t picture anyone else playing Jacob Black besides Taylor Lautner, he’s perfect. They should do whatever they can to keep him in the movie, he’s worth it in the end..
