Selena Gomez is a Buttercup Beauty
Selena Gomez steps out in a pair of Modern Vintage Vinny boots as she does some furniture shopping with mom Mandy at the H.D. Buttercup shop on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.
The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place leading lady who recently moved, dished to J-14 magazine about her own life story. She shares, “My [role model] is first and foremost my mom.” Her mother, Mandy, had Selena when she was 16-years-old.
Selena’s movie, Another Cinderella Story, will air on ABC Family in the new year on January 18th @ 8PM ET/PT. The film is the sequel to the 2004 Hilary Duff flick, A Cinderella Story, that follows the same storyline: A guy dances with the girl of his dreams at a costume ball and only has one hint to who she is and is on a mission to find her.

this might sound weird but I’d love to see Selena play Jane in ‘New Moon’, the Twilight Saga book. I think it would be perfect for her to show off her acting skills.
I REALLY do not get why she is so “famous”. What has she done? Other than cling onto the “Jonas Brothers” and “Demi” Lovato.

Selena has talent , no one can top. SHE may not be popular, but she’s still mentioned around other movies and shows. HER style is different among other teens. SHE dresses the way she feels to dress- casual, laid back, pretty ( etc) There’s nothing wrong with someone being them self, without people like US trying to take control of that. ON her show, WOWP, she dresses like a normal teen. Outside of that, she dresses simple, not 2 stylish… like she’s supposed too! Can you not see what she’s wearing now? it’s not fashionable..but it’s still really pretty. Sel’s personality..is better than miley’s. YOU don’t see her, being mean to people, who are mean to her back. She’s actually a really good friend, with demi, jonas brothers and the rest of disney channel. Nothing’s wrong with sel’s mom having her at 16. Doesn’t mean, sel’s gonna act that way. She shows the opposite of that. There’s no problem, to look up to someone, who has done mistakes before. Sel can learn from her mom, not to do things, if she was gonna do them now. HER mom helped her with acting, and she’s learned from that.. to be here NOW. FACE the truth people.
Now as for miley
Acting- she’ can’t do. She tries too hard.. and still gets more money and publicity then ever. I still feel, her father is a reason she’s still famous. I’ve seen the acting tapes- they weren’t that much good.
Singing- she wasn’t good then. And it shows she’s trying too hard now. I admit she’s good at what she knows best ( country, pop) Something she’s not - shows way to much- that’ proves she’s a fake for over achieving. At concerts and stuff- her performances, are still trying to hard, and she can’t sing properly.
After the race pics- all shes’ ever doing, is getting back her fans.. instead of respecting them and not acting like a REAL role model.
Dresses= the girl goes back and forth with dressing sluty and normal.
She can’t pretend to be normal .. i’m sorry. It just can’t happen.
ALL the other things she has.. she’ can pull it off- i mean she has everything she ever could want- now she’s rubbing in. YEAH right!
no way can she do things, normally, with being famous. It’s impossible for her. Jeans and tank tops? they show her stomach half the time, and cleavage sometimes shows.
what about dresses? there always short and not long enough for her age. Explain that.
WHO cares if miley has more style than selena?
you don’t see me bragging about it. AND im sure, miley is trying to brag about herself, to what she does, towards everyone. SEL wears what she has. MILEY wears what she has..and tries to be a fashion icon, and creates new creations, so people can look up to her even more than before! I agree about miley being selfish and stuck up.

Sel and nick are normal. AND the dress they want too. it’s no competition who dresses the most fashionable.
GUYS always wear suits. AND jeans and t - shirts.

Miley’s been in the business for 3 years- i wouldn’t say she’s that much famous- just trying to hard to BE famous. IF she had skills to act, more than sing.. and sing than act- then that’s something she can work and improve on.
But selena has been, since she was little, on barney with demi.
And that’s not fair to her, considering, she’s worked hard where she’s at, and isn’t still getting notified.

Aw, they are so cute! She looks JUST like her mom! @the person who suggested her for New Moon, I think they could definitely do that and it would work! I think Selena is so talented, and her voice is just lovely… I can’t wait to see her in Another Cinderella Story, I think she and Drew Seeley are going to have absolutely amazing chemistry together!
