All in all, a person don’t get many true fan by just being beautiful. I do believe a lot of ppl are drawn by her geogerous face initially but later started to appreciate her personality. I admire her still standing after being strongly criticise by media and fans. Let’s not forget when the incident happen she’s only a teenager and against all odd she continue to work hard and faces her fears (I really doubt that an adult can be as strong as her).
I love her voice and sometimes a felt her talent is undermine by her record company. We have hear her sing in HSM franchise and we know what’s her real potential. I also believe that she is still has a lot of potential to grow and all she need is the right company and also songs that will bring out her power.
She’s is a growing talented actress, from HSM to HSM3, she has also improve on her acting skills. What most of you guys will be wondering can she act other character after gabriella? I do not know, but we will sure find out in BandSlam because she plays a total different character, Sa5m.
In an interview Baby V was asked about girls trying to be skinny, she reply “It doesn’t matter if you want to be skinny or a bit flesh, the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin”. I like this awnser because it’s genuine answer (else other celebrities condemming ppl being skinny, where the fact is they themself is skinny!) This shows Baby V is person true to her word, she don’t pretend to be someones else, all that you see in interviews and in pic is the real her.
I could go on and on and on, but I think you get my meaning.

You know what, think that this is a great discussion to have on this board. Maybe the haters will learn that Vanessa actually does have mature fans.
There are many reasons why I am a Vanessa fan. But the number 1 is that, she is true to herself. She doesn’t follow Hollywood trends, she doesn’t vary from who she truly is. After her scandal, through all the media coverage, she is just simply “Vanessa”. She has always stayed that way.
We need more of that in Hollywood. She redefined herself and her work by her own identity. Not the identity that will get her a job at the moment.
On top of that ,she has been given a great body and shape that she is not ashamed of, and realizes her points of weakness in it, but hasn’t altered it in any way, shape, or form. She is the real deal, and as far as I am concerned (and I am an older fan) it is a real breath of fresh air.
As usual, Vanessa, you look amazing. Even when you laze, it just proves once again, that you are not out to impress anyone, but just being your self. That is a real treat. Wish we could see more of that kind of confidence in people.

OK, how do u guys know that she has good morals???? I like her, not love her because i dont know her, and her last albums arent my faves. I like her as Gabriella, and that’s the only role I have seen her play so how can you judge that she is going to be a hit, she is the next angelina jolie and more. yes she did apologize for the nude pics. but other than we dont really know her, at all. She sings about love, dancing, friends, sadness and happiness. But do we really know her personally in person???

She isnt a party girl though in 2007 i found candids from a vanessa fansite claiming that ”vanessa spotted outiside a night club” which was weird considering in 08 there haven’t been any night club sightings so i highly doubt that the pics are real. we know that she is friendly, she is friends with brenda, ashley, miley, alyson eg. we know that she isnt a virgin though may be fake, in 08 last month pics surfaced the net of vanessa and zac at a so called ‘’sex store” huh i was surprised. we know that she doesnt smoke, though some incidents. we know that her music career is good, idenitifed charted more than the chart shown on wikipedia, anyone can edit wikipedia, nothing is verfied for real on wikipedia and ashley fans remove and reduce vanessa’s articles, jealousy, ashley fans also remove and reduce text from brenda articles, huh hate and jealousy. she is by far likeable but her obsessed fans dont know that much, yes dont judge the cover when you havent read the book.

We know what she is in the limelight, when the camera is rolling, when the sun is up. I think that she is sweet but i dont know her personally so i am not judging, paparazzi pics only give u a look at the clothes and makeup she has on, it doesn’t show anything, interview only give you a look at what she does, hobbies, interests, and her comments on everything. Thank you Karen. It’s always nice to see someone use their brain around here, instead of typing up the first thing they can think of, no matter how stupid it usually is. No one here should feel the need to justify why they love Vanessa. It’s something we all feel, something that no one on the outside looking in will ever be able to understand. Those who sit around on their computer and monitor our posts only to call us obssesive need to take a close look at the mirror.

We don’t go around asking you to explain why you like the things you like, whether it’s a certain sports team, a certain hobby or even a certain person. Because there are some things you can’t explain to other people. I have many reasons for liking Vanessa and they all go past the fact that she’s beautiful, and talented and Zac’s girlfriend, even though these are all true, and go into something that is hard to put into words.

Truth is there’s no reason for me to try and explain anyways. Because people who have decided they don’t like her will never understand, and people who do like her know exactly what I’m talking about.

We all have our reasons we like certain people, and it IS hard to explain. One of mine, besides the obvious, is that they remind me of my husband and I when we were that age, so seeing them is very sentimental to me. It’s just so nice to see couples with that loyalty and devotion to each other these days, no matter what age they are!!

I think shes a wonderfull person and sweet too. Shes still young and shes talented. Like wid acting,singing and dancing. I love her coz she has an amazing style whch anybdy can copy and look great like her. Shes naturally pretty and she doesnt need makeup like most celebrities. We can see why zac loves her so much:)

i don’t know about ashley, but vanessa IS part of a charity, called best buddies, and she happens to be a big supporter of that. she designed a t-shirt for them, and all the profits went to that organization. she attends their conferences. she also went to an environmental conference just last week. and while it may not seem like a lot to people like you, it’s honestly more than most people do in their lifetimes, let alone at her age. just because people don’t go around bragging about charities, doesnt mean they don’t do anything. and since you’re SO charitable yourself, i’d love to hear you explain how you sitting on your butt in front of a computer whining about what people are or aren’t doing in their free time is helping our community more than what vanessa does.

Everyone single person has someone who hates them. It shouldn’t surprise or frustrate any of us that Vanessa does. The best we can do is to continue to be the positive support that she needs to keep her career moving. I truly believe that the support she gets from the public will keep her i movies and keep her career moving. It will give her a chance to prove to the world what she does have and can do. She really hasn’t been given a role yet that can showcase her abilities. She can do so much more. People shouldn’t base her ability soley on the role of Gabriella. A true fan and someone who understands acting would realize that. People who hate her are still so few compared to those who love her.
The more suport people throw her way, the opportunities will come. I can think of alot of actresses who got more roles because of their support from fans. This allowed them to prove themself to the general public and in the end, made fans out of haters. I believe that is possible for Vanessa on some level.

While they were on tour in Austraila some radio station made the comment that she is the nicest of all the disney stars visiting but get judged the hardest because she dates Zac.
