Brenda Song Goes Down To Boogie Town
Brenda Song is going to slip on her dancing shoes alongside Marques Houston of Sister, Sister fame in the upcoming dance flick, Boogie Town.
The 20-year-old Suite Life sweetheart will join Houston, Mykal Anthony Bean, and Vanessa Simmons in the modern West Side Story tale. Taking place in a future New York City where battle dancing has been outlawed, Micah (Houston) and Jay (Bean) are leaders of rival dance crews and Micah starts to fall in love with Jay’s beautiful sister Natalie.
Boogie Town dances its way to the big screen in June 2009.

this is huge news i can’t wait and #74 how is it ”cool for her” it’s amazing news for everyone, this movie is her movie. She plays the lead on the big screen and she hasn’t done that in a long time so its cool, some are excited others arent its cool. Its ok but JJJ haven’t made it clear that she is the lead, like she plays Natalia, she is a very major and important character her name appears like first/second but its still like the same LMO that wout

I definitely will be going to see this multiple times mainly because of Brenda and the excellent script but I love Vanessa Simmons and Marques Houston too, so I guess I’m in for a serious treat when it hits theatres.

Kate she plays the ”lead role” have you seen the references, her name is second in the listing and many many sites are saying that she plays Natalia. She doesn’t play the sister of an african u have not understood the story, and they may change the cast and if she does end up with an african american = ADOPTED!!!!!! She does play Natalia and this role is compltely different from College Road Trip this is a serious movie and she plays the lead role never the less her character is one of the lead so its NOT college road trip over and over again have u seen brenda in LIKE MIKE??? Her perfrocmance won a CINE she has a big potental to be a very seriious and big actress in hollywood and she is making her way.

Brenda is very attractive, sweet, humble and down to earth. I love Brenda and I am so excited to see her movie, I am so glad that she is returning to the big screen I loved her movies in the cinema. Brenda is gorgeous and yes she is Natalia. Many websites on the internet are saying that her role is Natalia. Since the movie was anounced and Brenda’s name was the second name announced the cast listing according to Variety is like this: Marques Houstin, Brenda Song, Vanessa Simmons. These 3 names are the lead. Brenda is very very likely to be Natalia. Since the cast listing shows that she is a leading performer in the movie. Natalia is the sister of Jay, who is an African American, therefor the character Natalia is his half-sister/adopted sister/in law sister either way an Asian actress can definitely be cast as Natalia plus the actor who plays Jay is of Asian roots. We still don’t know if Jay is full black or white/asian. I searched the actors name on google and he isn’t quite famous he is a popular dancer so its like you wouldn’t find much pics on him on google. Kate it is very possible that Brenda is Natalia, just because her brother in the film is Black which still we do not have much evidience to back that. All we know that Jay’s sister is Natalia, but we don’t know the whole story behind that. This movie is produced by Vivendi Entertainment, the same company who produced Shai Lebeauf, Rachel Bilson, Ben Affleck and more A-listers. This company is major so there is no doubt that the film’s budget will be huge and so will be the amount of promotion given. P.S. IMDB is very slow at updating news. Brenda’s name will appear in the listing in the next 1-3 weeks. It takes them quite a long time to update cast listings and when Brenda’s name appears it might not even be in order so lets hope that some of the admins there bother to update the cast order/listing. Right now the cast order isn’t in the right place, I will try complaining to them about this like i did to the Brenda Song page.
I have been waiting for Brenda to do a feature film for ages now. I really really hope that this will not be the end for serious movies for Brenda I loved all of her movies before Disney. I love Brenda!!!!!! And Brenda is the best actress I have ever seen I can’t wait for Boogie Town!!!!! I hope that Brenda, Vanessa and Marques like do a promo tour. Brenda did a big one for Wendy Wu, but thats disney c.
