I don’t want Vanessa to do Twilight because, and I’ll probably get shot for saying this, I think Twilight is an over-hyped, tweeny-based franchise, and I think she can do better. The last thing Vanessa needs to do is get involved with is something that involves “opinionated” 13 year-olds, squealing over “hot” guys, and hating on the girls who act alongside them. Honestly, I think she needs to step away from all of that and target a more mature, less jealous-prone age group. Plus, she’s already been part of a similar franchise, why would she want to go back to another?

On that note, her and Taylor do look a lot alike, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call them cute. He is 4 years younger than her after all. It’s creepy enough that Miley Cyrus is dating someone with a similar 4-year age difference, no matter how people try to justify that relationship. And it’s nice to see her again, especially while getting publicity for the charity she’s involved in, even though some people like to claim she doesn’t get involved in enough.

I couldn’t agree more with you, Truth. I actually think she could play the part well, but I don’t want her in another franchise this soon. Especially one that has already had a love hate relationship with its fans.

TO people who want or think V in twilight:

Leah Clearwater is not even in the NEW MOON ( at least in the book )….

yes its another “franchise” but quite frankly so many movies today are, its nearly impossible to ignore them.

also, as far as the fan base goes, yes twilight has a teen audience, but it also has a much older demographic as well. this is a good target audience for V IMO. and lastly, its a good transition role for her b/c i don’t think she would want to rush into something really, really super edgy at this stage in her career, and she really hasn’t proven herself within the movie industry to be considered for such roles anyway.

i think it would be a good move for her. but we don’t even know if its an opportunity that she could take advantage of.
