Vanessa Hudgens - Golden Globe Awards 2009
Vanessa Hudgens glows in a gold Alberta Ferretti gown at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday evening.
The 20-year-old actress accompanied boyfriend Zac Efron (in a Burberry suit, Ferragamo shoes and IWC watch) to the award ceremony. Zac will present Best TV Drama Actor with Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere.
Zac admitted he was nervous to present. He said, “I can’t believe it. [I] 100% [get nervous before presenting at awards shows]. Absolutely. Plus, you have to sit in a car for 1/2 hour before and just dwell on what you’re’ going to do at the show… I got out of the car to stretch because we were waiting so long.”

I have to say Vanessa reminded me of a young Jennifer Lopez. No, she doesn’t look like her, but her beauty, poise, and style resembled her. She truly was gorgeous here. Zac looks mighty fine too lol. Together the make a very pure and lovely couple. I really enjoy seeing pictures of them together. Hey- maybe one day instead of attending and presenting, they will be receiving. I think there both really talented even out of the musical group.

Yes Zac is wearing a ring. I wonder if Vanessa bought him a new one since he seemed to be losing the other. Also, I am guessing Vanessa didn’t wear hers because of the big ring on her hand. Oh, well we know the next time we see she will probably have it on. Just happy to see Zac wearing one again. Zac and Vanessa are a beautiful couple together and it was so good to see them together.

From the fact that Zac had his ring on in the Elle photoshoot, he wore it to the Teen Choice Awards, and again tonight, it seems to me that at some point the thing that happened was he decided he would not wear it except for special occasions. He did say in an interview how it bothered him how much commotion it caused or something to that effect. I think he got tired of it being a topic of conversation on boards like this and decided he would not wear it. I can understand that decision but it is a shame it happened.

WOW, they both look AWFUL. I wasn’t expecting that from Zac he usually looks so cute, I’m not digging the greasy hair look. It works on Rob Pattinson but not on him. And Vanessa ew, her dress is nice but ughh. She usually looks all right too. Such a let down. She’s a ho anyways.
I don’t know why it should matter, but I feel a little bent out of shape with the credit going to Vanessa for these pics when she was clearly Zacs’ date/attendant. His hair is too slicked to his head…he needs to tossle it a bit…and Vanessa looks great in that dress, but bland in the jewelry and hair department. I should have been both their stylist for this event.

Your right Karen it is a shame that Zac feels he can’t wear the ring that obvuioulsy means a lot to him becuase of the commotion it causes, but at least he still has it and does wear it when he feels the ocassion is special which this is obvioulsy one of them for him, they both look great and happy.
I can unbderstand why he does’nt wear it when their doing promotion work becuase of all the travelling from place to place, but as I’ve said previoulsy we don’t go everywhere with Zac so he could wear the ring a lot more than we know.

It’s really nice to see Zac and Vanessa spending time with Brittany Snow and Amanda Bynes. It seems they are quite close. I think it looks like Megan Fox may be trying to make amends for what she said after the GQ event which it was rumored she was drunk. Hopefully that little faux pas taught her a lesson. It would seem nobody is holding any grudges which is nice to see. All these young people are about the same age. I think Amanda and Brit are only 22 themselves.
And I do agree with some of you that I prefer Zac’s hair not quite so severe. I liked how it looked at the GQ show. I’ve also love it in some of his recent photoshoots but not really here.

From all the pictures I’ve seen they look as though they really had a good time being with each other and catching up with friends in Zac’s case from HS. But as usual the loving looks and smiles were focused on Vanessa who looked amazing.
