Vanessa Hudgens: ‘New Moon’ Rumor Control

Vanessa Hudgens has NOT auditioned for New Moon, her rep tells JustJaredJr.com.

The 20-year-old singer/actress reportedly auditioned for the Twilight sequel for the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater.

“I don’t know anything about the audition,” Vanessa’s rep tells JJJ. “As far as I know, it’s just a rumor.”

Seems that Ashley Greene’s comment about Vanessa was taken way out of context because SpoilerTV is reporting that the character of Leah isn’t even being cast for!

UPDATE: New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg confirms this report, saying, “If Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah, she’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em.”

OMG!!!! what are you guys thinking venessa hudgens would be awful for leah i mean she’s a disney star TWILIGHT IS NOT DISNEY!!!! i am more then happy now at i know that venessa is not playing leah (cheers) i am glad it was a rumor i think it would have ruind the movie for me. But who is going to play leak in Eclips and breaking dawn? because leah is a big charector in breaking dawn. i am so with sarah she can’t act people. well sorry for the people who did’nt get there wish but i am happy. and i got my wish. i am not trying to say it’s all about me but i am happy. VERY HAPPY . and vanessa i wish you see this because your just an actor for thoughs little 10 and 11 year old who like high school musical it’s stupid well thats all that i got to say i am happy and i love twilight!!!!

i’m glad she isnt going to be in the film.
I mean she has always been know as a sweet, innocent girl and she CANNOT play a werewolf.
So glad its just a rumour.
