Raven Symone Honored at the Trumpet Awards
Raven Symone is bold in a dramatic floor-length lace gown at the 17th Annual Trumpet Awards on Sunday (January 25) in Atlanta, Ga.
The 23-year-old actress was honored alongside actor Chris Tucker, TV exec Johnathan Rodgers and the Tuskegee airmen. The Trumpet Awards salute primarily African-American achievement in law, business, medicine, politics, entertainment and public service.
At the ceremony, Raven also caught up with former co-stars Kim Whitley (College Road Trip) and Holly Robinson-Peete (Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper).

Yes, she’s thick. But I think that it doesn’t matter how big you are . She’s very comfortable in her own skin and I love that about her.
her outfit is wrong! What I would have liked to see on her would be a one shoulder dress that has a tight top but loose bottom. She needs to consider her figure when she shops

Raven is a great role-model for plus-size girls(unlike Nikki Blonsky), but the dress is awful. I wish she would work with a better stylist because she is such a pretty young woman.
