Lucy Hale Auditioned For New Moon
Privileged’s Lucy Hale just dished to Twist magazine that not only did Dakota Fanning audition for Jane in New Moon, but she did too!
The 19-year-old actress shared with the mag, “Well, I did read [for the role of Jane]. We had some talks about it. But I think they just offered it to Dakota Fanning, the role I was interested in. Which is great - I’m a huge fan of her! So, I think she’ll probably take that. And I mean, as of right now, I’m not sure if it’s going to work out. But I’m definitely still going to see it!”

who ever has read the twilgiht saga knows that these vampires are flawlessy beautiful and i think lucy hale would be PERFECT for this role, shes great on privileged and she should deff get this part
also i dont like the fact that this part was just given to dakota its very unfair lucy hale has mentioned how much she loves these books and she even auditioned for the role of alice in twilight, so i think she deserves this part for being a dedicated fan to the book, good actress and a perfect description of jane
anywho as for the part of leah clearwater alice greczyn would be awesome !!!

I think dakota would make a better jane because she fits the description so well…jane is supposed to look like a child. Shes also a very talented actress i completly support her as jane. Just DONT cast anyone from disney to be in any of the twilight series

I Would love for Lucy Hale to play the role of Jane. After ready the first three books of the Twilight Saga i can’t imagine Dakota Fanning playing the role of Jane. I mean anyone who has read the books, would probably agree that the role of Jane doesn’t suit Dakota Fanning.
Although, some people may agree on Dakota Fanning playing the role, I just can’t, picture her playing a vampire, just as the same way i couldn’t picture Vanessa Hudgens playing a werewolf. ( I heard she auditioned). I would like for them to get actors who are not well known, like they did for the first movie. All in all, my vote would have to be for Lucy Hale not Dakota!!!
i think lucy hale would be such a good jane! i think dakota fanning would be really bad to be utterley honest. she seems to young. and i think lucy hale would pull it off. dakota isnt mean enough and lucy just looks like she COULD be mean. not saying she is or anything.. plus i just lovee her so much more than dakota

I think Lucy Hale would make a great Jane! I love Dakota she’s a great actress but I’m a little iffy on it because I mean Dakota is the same age as me and I imagined Jane to be a bit more grown up. I don’t know I havent seen any of Dakota’s new stuff, I plan on seeing Push though. Anyway I love Lucy Hale in Priviledged and I could see her as Jane with blonde hair and what not. Either way I’m seeing New Moon no matter what, Taylor Lautner is a hottie.

A lot of people have said they don’t want Jane to be played by Dakota because she looks too young…but she is supposed to look really young. And Blonde and angelic, etc. Lucy Hale is actually too old for the part. I’m sure she could be great in another role but not as Jane.

I think that Lucy looks good for Jane, but I don’t know about her acting. I’ve never seen any of her shows or movies.
I really believe that Dakota will take the part, though. Who would pass that chance up? I mean, how much did Twilight gross into last year? $178,000,000?
However, I was looking at different actresses for the part yesterday, and my top choices were Emily Browning (The Uninvited) or Jodelle Ferland (Silent Hill) Those girls look like some vampires, let me tell you.

Yeah I think Lucy would make a better Jane because she’s more mature looking and looks more angelic than Dakota. And it’s better to follow through with the casting of putting not so famous actors in the movie sagas.
