Lucy Hale Auditioned For New Moon
Privileged’s Lucy Hale just dished to Twist magazine that not only did Dakota Fanning audition for Jane in New Moon, but she did too!
The 19-year-old actress shared with the mag, “Well, I did read [for the role of Jane]. We had some talks about it. But I think they just offered it to Dakota Fanning, the role I was interested in. Which is great - I’m a huge fan of her! So, I think she’ll probably take that. And I mean, as of right now, I’m not sure if it’s going to work out. But I’m definitely still going to see it!”

I think she would be really good as Leah! Way better than Vanessa Hudgens. I just can’t seen VH as Leah, I’m sorry.
I’m still having a hard time with Dakota Fanning as Jane, but I could see her more as Jane than VH as Leah.
I really like Lucy Hale! I hope she gets SOME part in New Moon. Leah would be awesome! I think she would do so great!!
i think dakota might be a bit young to portray jane but if she does have the part she’ll be good. and yea no disney people in the twilight series. i would be devastated. especially if vanessa or miley were in any of the twilight movies omg that would be awful. keep it strictly out of disney.
Vanessa CAN’T ACT! Lucy will be good for Leah and I think Dakota is ok for Jane… she has the characteristics and is a great actress

@Kamber: Dakota will be way better…… Not mean enough? are u kidding? First of all … Dakota is young and Jane in the book is young too, not 19, no way Hale can look 12 or whatever age Jane is . Have you seen Uptown Girls? Dakota can defetnetly BE MEAN!

I love Lucy Hale, and she played such an excellent role in Privileged, but I don’t know if she’d have fit the role of Jane, although I would have loved her to be in New Moon! I hope she keeps auditioning and maybe she’ll be in Eclipse or Breaking Dawn
Dakota is beautiful. Lucy Hale is ok but her forehead is huge and distracting. Well her head is big and her eyes start way too low on her head. The vampires are suppose to be beautiful.
I totally think lucy hale should so get the part because it would be such a good oppertuniitty and i’m a realy big fan of lucy hale , well I mean I didn’t know of dakota until like now.But i,m not saying shes not bad so no affense, but I realy realy think lucy should so get the part.I was thinking of J to be a dark haired girl that can be able to act seriouse sometimes but not too much and thats exactly what I say lucy can give, so I think it should so be lucy hale.
I would love to see lucy hale because she can totally play the part she is not as famous as Dakota which will bring more fans to the twilight and give more fans to lucy and if lucys a little more famous it could bring even more fans to the next movie which Dakoto cant do as much as lucy hale because Dakota is to famous and isorta think people will be suprised to see lucy hale famous.
