Zac & Vanessa: Tokyo’s Aladdin & Jasmine

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens continue their promo tour as they take over Tower Records in Tokyo, Japan on Friday afternoon (January 30).

The High School Musical sweethearts were asked about their favorite Disney characters. While Zac chose Goofy as his favorite, Vanessa opted for a princess: Jasmine. Does that make Zac her Aladdin?

i love Jasmine too!!! my favorites are Troy and Gabriella and Jasmine and Aladdin

My fave Disney princess is Belle from Beauty and the Beast but my all-time fave is Pocahontas…..maybe because I kinda look like her lol! I also love Mulan haha. I love Minnie and Pluto

Karen & Peggy there is no video out there that shows that Zac changed his answer to Aladdin. He just says Aladdain at the end to reiterate what the translator behind them says. The Japanese fan who made that comment just mistook that as Zac changing his answer. I think that same fan is the uploader of this video as well. There is not some sort of conspiracy.

V loves Jasmine.. how cool! Coincidentally the song “A whole new world” in the movie is voiced by a Filipina singer/actress in the Philippines =)

Though I’m a huge Zac and Vanessa fan, I have to agree that Zac was just repeating what the interpreter behind them said. I don’t think he was changing his answer. But dang, he still looked at her, and blushed a bit, so it’s all good!!!

Yes, maria, I do agree with you if I was only going on this video alone. It shows nothing that he says he wants to change his answer to be Aladdin. Even Vanessa answers makes it sound like Zac is only clarifying what Vanessa is saying. Vanessa’s answer comes out like she is not sure if anyone will know who Jasmine is. Zac is trying to point out it is Jasmine in connection to Aladdin. We don’t have any other video to go by but this which would prove that Zac is saying he wants to change his answer from Goofy to Aladdin.
