Miley Cyrus & Taylor Swift Turn ‘Fifteen’
Teen sensations Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift pair up to perform “Fifteen” at the 2009 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 8).
The gal pals also presented The Record of the Year Grammy award to Robert Plant and Alison Krauss for their collaboration of “Please Read The Letter.”
Taylor and Miley also hung out with L.L. Cool J before their performance. Check out it out below!

I got to say that this performance was ok. Taylor was better than Miley. I don’t think they sounded good together, especially around the 2:05 mark of the song.
I loved this performance, it was so humble and sweet. A nice change from the theatrics of the evening.

i loved this! their voices contrasted each other beautifully. and i’d like to preempt any whining by saying that taylor and miley are good friends and would not want their fans snapping at each other. let’s just appreciate these lovely girls for who they are.

one of my favorites of the night. this song is super cute and you could see that miley/taylor were really comfortable around each other. miley’s voice is a lot stronger than taylor’s but it worked for them.
i think miley was too much at the beginning but was good for the rest of the song. taylor did really well, some past award show performances live werent so good but here she did great. this was a good duet all in all tho, coulda been better.
Taylor has the advantage thought…. IT WAS HER SONG and she sings 100% country where Miley doesnt.. I dont know I loved it personally.
I’ve seen way too much overreaction to this duet. It was cute and fun, I heard nothing wrong with it. And to those people who say that Miley ruined it–no, Miley changed it. That’s what duets are about. Of course it isn’t going to sound like the version on the album! As far as I’m concerned they both did just fine.

taylor was definitely better than miley, and taylor is not even that great at singing, but her songwriting skills are amazing. miley was so bad, she can’t sing live or at all
they did fine. miley’s voice is very strong and taylor’s is very soft. neither is a ~bad singer~. it was enjoyable. not the evening’s best but not the worst, either (ugh, katy perry). i have similar thoughts about the jonas performance.

idk about ‘genre’. actually, if it was genre, miley seemed more country sounding to me then taylor lol. but yah, i think miley just needed to tone it down more since it was a calmer song. i still liked it tho, i wonder if they will ever write a real duet for themselves later or record this duet or something.

Miley sounded GREAT. This just isnt her cup of tea- but she pulled it off. It was an interesting combo, i liked that.

Ya’ll say Miley ruined the song??? I highly disagree have ya’ll ever heard Taylor sing??? Miley was good but Taylor sounded like a dying animal no offence to whoever likes her but I am SOOOOOOOOO much younger than her and I beat her by a LOOOOOOOOOONG run at singing. Once again no offence.
Miley was not good. It sounded too forced and her vibrato was too much. I actually liked Taylors voice. It was very sweet and fit the song more than Miley. Her voice kinda reminded me of Selena Gomez’s voice. I liked it. Overall, Miley should’ve sticked to her own songs and let Taylor perform alone on this one.
#23 i agree. Taylor was better. I don’t think Miley should sing slow songs. She’s better off with her hits like See You Again or Fly on the Wall. but I don’t think Taylor sounds like Selena. But I do like Selena’s voice and can’t wait for her album this summer. YAY MILEY, TAYLOR, AND SELENA!!!!

i think both girls did amazing! is a duet it would be stupid if they sound the same are you kidding me! the girl blow the performance both voice completed each other! i loved how miley held a high note and taylor had a soft voice obviosly that how the girl wanted it!! and i think they made the right choice the sounded fantastic wow! i keep on playing over and over it was so intamed and so emotional it was really good!!!!!!! congratulations girls you did a great job! dont listen to haters they are probably jb fans! but i think the guys most be proud they dated to amazing girls at one point! am totally proud of you girls great job!!

In overall in was a good performance, but nothing special about it. Everything goes according to what I expected. Miley with strong voice and Taylor with soft voice. Both are unique and special.
For those who negatively criticized Miley, yeah as if you never heard how she sing before. It is not that she cannot sing. She has great voice, but I do agree she need to improve it better. She sounds like she forced her way through it.
For Taylor, her voice comes natural with the song and she look comfortable performing it. … but nothing special though..

I think that they both did really well. They are good friends who got to finally sing together. Yes Miley is a stronger singer than Taylor, it’s pretty obvious. I don’t think that we should be bashing either of them, they are both really great singers, and I doubt that they’d be wanting people to bash the other person.

The performance was ok. Not great, yet not horrible. I will say that Miley did sing better than she did in the song “Just Stand Up.” Which is not saying much. She was terrible in that song.

I don’t hate Miley or anything but she really did a bad job. She was off pitch for the entire song. PLus her voice just isn’t compatible with Taylor’s. That doesn’t mean Miley can’t sing just she sucked in this song. Taylor on the other hand did an amazing job. One of her best live performences I’ve ever seen. Including the concerts I went to. She was refreshing. Anyway Miley and Taylor’s voices don’t blend but they are both beautiful and talented girls.

I liked it. Honestly, not a fan of Miley Cyrus, and I think she tries too hard when she’s singing country. No, she’s not used to singing it, so when she tries, it comes out rather odd. I’d rather have them sing separate songs.
I think Taylor sounded stunning. It’s a great song, and she sounded really good. I kind of wish she had sung it by herself; I’m so used to Taylor’s costume changes and such.

you said it perfectly to this naive fans it seems like they really dont know anything about music! haters just want to critized because they are probably selena fans but to be honest i think miley and taylor performance blew me away. it was raw and real and unique i felt what they were feeling at that moment! it was amazing and beautiful they both complimented each other voice i hope they record their duet i would totally buy it! also i think the girls should make a duet and write the song together about the strenght they both have to over come so many obstacle and be on top it would be a fanstastic writting. great job girl you were amazing am glad taylor decided to sing with miley because she did really good taylor should be proud to have had miley singing so beautifully her song!!

Wow. You guys are all a little ridiculous. They’re both talented and beautiful in their own ways– they each had their own moments in the song. Sure, they weren’t entirely harmonious but the fact that they made it work was very admirable.
Taylor’s guitar accompaniment worked very well. They’ve obviously gotten to know eachother’s singing style well. They kind of knew when to step down for eachother, or up, or however you call it. Not the best Grammy performance, but it was definately good.
