Kristen Stewart Covers Nylon
Kristen Stewart stands out in a polka-dot mini and jean jacket on the March 2009 cover of Nylon magazine.
The 18-year-old Twilight leading lady dished to the mag on her real-life leading man, her David Letterman appearance and co-star Robert Pattinson. Check it:
On the Twilight madness: “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bulls*** questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].”
On her memorable David Letterman appearance: “I feel like I have nothing to say on those shows… I’m not good at the funny thing—most people are really great on those shows. I don’t have a contrived personality that [I can] just pump out [for] a five-minute segment, so I end up sitting there and looking kind of baffled. Embarrassing.”
On the rumors about her and co-star Robert Pattinson: “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it’s like, I know this guy really well [laughs]. It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most psychotic situations.”
On who she’s actually dating: “He’s older than me—he’s 20 now—but when you’re 13 and he’s turning 16, it was always sort of an out-of-reach thing. Then you get a little older, and you realize, ‘Oh, What am I thinking? I can have you, like, lickity…He’s awesome.”

Although I’m not a big fan of her comments and attitude, I do think she’s veeeeeery pretty, and it would be nice of her if she could just omit the nasty comments about her fans and keep them to herself.
i only went to see twilight coz of kristen.. i read the whole twilight series after and i’m really excited to see kristen become a vampire!!

She’s not bogus and fake. She is true. Not like those Disney stars that’s keepng up with the tweetums demeanor but they’re such a waste in real life. I’m not saying that all Disney stars are like that– still some are.

I think she is pretty downright awesome. She’s got a natural talent that will definitely continue to evolve in her future movies and I think she is so stunningly beautiful. She may not be a “bomb shell” like Megan Fox, but at least she can act her socks off. I love her flowing, dishevled hair, especially when she is dressed up in pretty gowns - it’s such a great contrast. Anyway, I think all the haters out there need to can it. I mean we aren’t in the fourth grade anymore, so taking low blows at someone is not cool.

Did anyone ever consider she is just awkward and socially inept at these interview situations like she said. I know she comes off uncaring and bitchy at times, but I really don’t believe that she is. I think that she is just really uncomfortable in her own skin when it comes to going out to a million places CONSTANTLY promoting this film. Like people have stated before, she is used to these indie films which they don’t do a whole lot of press for, so this is all new for her. I think Nylon took an opportunity and took a perfectly normal open and frank conversation and twisted into a salascious article to sell more magazines, but that is my opinion. NOW onto what she said. I am a HUGE Twilight fan and even I recognize that the fans ARE psychotic!! She doesn’t mean all of us, of course. She is talking about the ones who line up all night, go crazy and scream constantly at these appearances asking Rob to bite them and other crazy stuff, I mean c’mon ~ that’s freakin scary to say the least because half of them are SERIOUS. A 7 year old girl asked him, how sick is that and where were her parents, in line to be bitten too? I would be terrified to go to these things if I were them, but they HAVE to, it is their job. I have read the nastiest stuff from these Twi moms, that 2 secons ago LOVED Kristen and wanted Rob and her to be together forever, BUT now, that’s all changed. If you are a fan you are a fan, take the good with the bad. **** happens, people mis-speak. Words get taken out of context. Does Kristen look pissed off all the time? Yeah, but so do I and that doesn’t mean that I am, it just means that I have a hard time expressing myself in public because I have a hard time around a lot of people and in crowds. This could be a problem for her as Rober t has stated it is with him as well. We don’t know because we don’t know her and she is a little closed off from the fans to tell us. She likes to keep her life as private as possible and do you really blame her when everything they say and do is put under a microscope? Another thing, so she swears and smokes pot OMFG!!!!!!!! The world is coming to an end RIGHT NOW!!!!! She is a teen ager for all intensive purposes and will grow up, we all do eventually. As for the article of being a role model I read some time ago, what the hell? Actors have no business being role models to our kids, that is the PARENTS jobs or have we forgotten that? Sorry this is so long, I just have a lot to say on this subject the whole thing is just so ridiculous.
