BTW, everyone needs to know where this “proposal” rumor started: the National Enquirer. SO, you all know by now that only has a smidgen of truth in it at best. Because you have to think about it this way: were the people from the Enquirer there with Zac and Vanessa or do you think they told anybody from that rag that there had been a proposal? I highly doubt it. The only way they could have gotten hold of that kind of information is if Zac or Vanessa would have told one of their CLOSE friends and then that friend sold them out. I don’t think someone who they trust so much that they would tell that information to would rat them out. And maybe they would not be telling anyone about it at this point anyway.

The only other thing would be if they wanted to leak the information so their publicists planted that story. Now let me ask you, does that SOUND like Zac or Vanessa would allow their publicists to do something like that?

Ok - This rumor stuff about engagment is just insulting to Vanessa. She is a talented and independent young woman of her own financial means. All this stuff about being an “honest” woman sounds like something out of the fifties. And to suggest that her mother is the cause for Zac to propose and that Vanessa would agree for that reason does not jive with the facts. They travel together withou a chaperone, she frequently stayed over at Zac’s while living at home, they have their own homes. Vanessa is certainly capable of taking care of herself for the right reasons. While this is much happier rumour that the old “break up/cheating” rumors, it is still the imagination of some soul who doesn’t know any details.

For heaven’s sake people…..they are out in public for all the world and paps to see. If Zac had something to hide, do you think he’d be at popular restaurant with the paps outside???

C’mon…..Zac would NEVER hurt Vanessa by blatantly having a public rendezvous and having her see the pictures. I’m sure she knew all about it. Sounds like she’s friends with her too. NO biggie.

All becuase we don’t see Zac everytime he hangs out with one of his friends does’nt mean that it does’nt happen like Bubba he knew them before HSM came along and they obvioulsy became great friends remember when Zac had his operation Bubba was there to help out his friend getting around as Zac could’nt drive for a while, when Zac goes back home he has his friends there but again we don’t see them but that’s good as that’s a part of Zac’s life that came again before HSM and the pap’s and fans needing to know every single movement that Zac makes and who he meets in his day.

And if Vanessa was such a controlling girlfriend then Zac would’nt have been able to go on his Audi treat with his buds she would have had a fit, but it was the time when she was doing her summer tour so she was doing her thing and Zac who had done three movies was having a break and having some down time but he still went on after and joined her on tour that was his choice and from the few photo’s that are about he loved the show and the reports from fans who were there say the same thing.

To me Zac does’nt come across as the type who could be told what to do if he did’nt want to do iot, compramise in situations yes but to stay with someone for getting on 4 year’s who’s controlling in supposedly such a way no sorry does’nt ring true for me, that kind of relactionship rarely works.
