‘High School Musical 4′ is a Go!
Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad and Taylor may have graduated and left East High behind, but High School Musical is far from over.
Disney announced today that High School Musical 4 will bring the franchise back to television in a music and dance-filled movie that will introduce a new cast of characters. The new Wildcats — Jemma McKenzie Brown, Justin Martin and Matt Prokop — introduced in the big screen High School Musical 3 are all set to return to East High’s halls.
In High School Musical 4, East meets West in a classic love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights.

I don’t think so, without all the carachter from the 3 first, hsm is not the same thing.

yessssss, definitely !! but it probably won’t be as good without zac in it =[ and ashely, and vanessa, and everyone else basically. but mostly zac.
NO WAY WILL I BE WATCHING THIS. Disney should know by now with the fans are no one in their right mind is going to watch this without the real cast. No one cares about those new kids, the press didn’t even care about them during the HSM3 press tour.
Disney is going to loss so much money from this. Three movies was the perfect amount. No one will watch it without the real cast. No one wants to see a bunch of want to bees.

I will watch it. I won’t like it AS much but, hey, i will still support them. I think this movie is really pushing the limit with the HSM franchise but I guess they’re gonna do whatever they have to do.

I dont no i think they must stop at number 3 because it was so succesfull i dont think number 4 would top that.
Yeah… it’s a definite NO! All the other characters are horrible. That Jemma girl or whatever her name is can’t carry a tune to save her life, and the other two are just corny little kids trying to make it in a grown up world.
ye I might watch it but I think Disney should have ended HSM with the last movie as it won’t be the same without the original cast and I think people will get sick of hsm eventually if they making more movies.

i think that it is great taht they want to keep the High School Musical craze going, but they ended in such a great note with the third film, and i think that this will just bring down the status. i mean it sounds like it would be interesting and all, but i still think that the original ones will always be the best….look at the classical ones, Greese…it was amazing and the second one really didn’t live up to the first because the same characters were not in it! that’s my opinion, but i’ll still watch it just to see how it is!

It should be called Junior High School Musical.
I mean SERIOUSLY… the last movie was a PERFECT stopping point. It was all so perfect. It’s like making another Harry Potter book after Harry dies. Useless and stupid.

they left a legacy and their work will never be forgotten…ever. its a little sad though- i dont think they shouldve made hsm4 cuz its just not gunna be the same and it will be incredible hard for the new cast to ever have the same chemistry the original cast had. i loved watching them goof around on set…it was just awesome! nothing will ever be amazing as the original 3 hsm’s, but ill watch the 4th one…
duh I’ll watch it. but there’s no way it can be as good as the first. None of them were! And with new characters… it will not be the same at all.
