Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Meet ‘Once Upon A Dream’
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will be portraying Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip from the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty in a new portrait from famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
JJJ saw the gorgeous photo last month and you won’t be disappointed! There’s no liplock… but it certainly comes super close. Hubba hubba hubba!
To make the picture even better, though, we think Disney should have added in the three Sleeping Beauty fairies Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.
And they should have cast Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Olesya Rulin!

#45- Alice in Wonderland wasn’t black but they chose Beyonce and she looked great. They certainly didn’t just change it for these two so get your facts straight. I don’t think Whoopi Goldberg looked anything like the blue genie in Aladdin, but that’s what she portrayed.

For those of you who are whining about the fact that Aurora was blonde.So what,J lo did Jasmine and her hair was blondish and not black. I think Miley Cyrus did some kind of photo shoot where she was Snow white and she had brown hair not black. I always imagined zac and vanessa being Auror and prince Philip, just by looking at the blurred picture you can see it is going to look incredible.
I think something important needs to be said here:
These images of Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty etc.were created in the 1940’s and 1950’s were there would have been no choice but to make them all caucasian and and in many cases but not in all cases blonde
Sleeping Beauty is white with blonde hair and blue eyes because that was the only acceptable image at the time. They could have given her brown hair like Cinderella but basically it would have been the same image.
I think Disney is saying they are no longer held captive by the racial mores of the original time and if these images had been created now maybe they would look like Vanessa, or Beyonce maybe an asian actress. It’s time to open your mind and realize in many ways the original character images depict the racial and social mores of their original era.
Your inage of Sleeping Beauty was the only one acceptable at the time she was created-open your mind.

oh yeah when they chose vanessa to be Princess Aurora They were not plains ofcourse they know that Aurora has ablond hair and vanessa has a cute black one , but it doesn’t have to when you pick someone to playd character that he’s gone have to have all the Connatural Formes , it’s in the end just a disney cartoon , and by the way that Princess have to be happy cus vanessa is gonne take her plce , i think she dose with a big smile in her face. Lol
