HSM4: No Matt Prokop!
Sources tell JustJaredJr.com that Matt Prokop will not be involved in High School Musical 4.
The 18-year-old actor posted a MySpace bulletin earlier today, saying, “Not only will HSM4 not feature your loved wildcats: Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and Taylor, but I will also not be apart of it. Disney decided to go with a completely different story line. I’m so thankful to be apart of HSM3 before they decided to change everything. Enjoy the new characters……. whoever they will be. Matt.”
True or not, JJJ can reveal that Disney will start casting HSM4 in late summer 2009.
WHAT DO YOU THINK about Disney taking a new direction for HSM4?

matt talks liek HE was the main guy in HSM he basically had like 2 lines in the last movieee i think hes ugly so im GLAD hes not coming back!!! the new HSM will be phenomenal! just like the first one! i believe that it will be great and break records! so all the haters including matt prokop or whoever he is, need to SHUT UP!

..Are you serious ? ..Their just making things worse…I was actually going to watch HSM4 because of MATT. And the plot sounds good too…but you can forget about me watching it now…I cannot believe they let him go !!!
Plus, if they do make HSM4…it’s just going to be the same thing over and over again..it’s no use without the original cast…it’s better off if they make a College Musical…
OMG!!! that us soo LAME!!! disney is SOO stupid..the ONLY reason why i would have watched hsm4 was because of matt!! now there is NO point!!
you know, we were all HSM fans now, because of those wildcats, those 10 main characters. they were the ones who made the movie so great. so, they graduate and it’s over . ok, it’s sad, but you know, once a wildcat, always a wildcat! (i luv this).
then, disney decides to ruin the name of HSM making another movie with the sophomores. until then, i thought it was bad, but no soo bad.
now, not even the sophomores will be there, it’s a whole new movie; so, why don’t they give it a damn new name, create a new franchise, and let HSM end well? i’ll tell you what, ‘cuz they want more money, they use the name to make more people watch it.
at least, matt is being smart to get out of this, it’ll be the most supid movie ever and he’d do a terrible mistake taking part on it.
They should just Change the name of the MOVIE!! Leave HSM franchise alone. Start with a NEW title
I think Disney would be making a HUGE mistake not to cast Matt in HSM4. If the original characters won’t be in the movie, they need to have characters that people will love. I, personally, fell in love with Matt from the second he got on camera. He brought positive energy to the movie whenever he was in it, and it seriously will suck if he’s not included in the next movie.
Not even Matt is gonna be in it.

I think if they were going to do a HSM 4 they should do it like a high school reunion set like 10 years from now. So we can see what is happening with the characters.
HSM is not HSM without the originals, I don’t think fans will have a great reception towards it.
I think its best for his career to not be involved with something that will tank.

IF THERE ARE NO ORIGINAL CAST AND THE STORYLINE IS COMPLETELY DIFF, JUST MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE MUSICAL, GODDAMIT! this will RUIN the hsm franchise. i hate disney. yeah, disney people, if you’re reading this (which i doubt), i’m just gonna say that lots of people are sick of you nowadays.

i think they thought more people are gonna watch it since it has “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” in it. but tbh, i’d definately watch it if they make a new movie out of this. but since they’re gonna name it HSM4, which will totally ruin the amazing franchise, i really don’t feel like watching. i’ll probably end up throwing the remote at my tv. poor tv. :/
