HSM4: No Matt Prokop!
Sources tell JustJaredJr.com that Matt Prokop will not be involved in High School Musical 4.
The 18-year-old actor posted a MySpace bulletin earlier today, saying, “Not only will HSM4 not feature your loved wildcats: Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and Taylor, but I will also not be apart of it. Disney decided to go with a completely different story line. I’m so thankful to be apart of HSM3 before they decided to change everything. Enjoy the new characters……. whoever they will be. Matt.”
True or not, JJJ can reveal that Disney will start casting HSM4 in late summer 2009.
WHAT DO YOU THINK about Disney taking a new direction for HSM4?

Now it will completely blow…I love the first three and was kinda ok with them adding Matt because his character was likable in hsm3 but now not to have him…who the heck will be there now?! no originals and now they choose to get rid of the kid they had introduced us to in hsm3 just because he was supposed to be in 4…disney is stupid!!!!!!! and now I for sure won’t be watching the next one if there is one

Thank God he’s gone, I really didn’t like him. HSM4 is going to suck all around because it won’t have the REAL cast, it will just have a bunch of want to bees. : /

they screwed up honestly with making a 3rd cuase that one totally sucked. they litterally need to move on and realize that hsm is over and one with. it gave disney money. but dont try to ruin it now with all new stupid characters. i mean its tootally pointelss. i so am nnot going to watch it, i think it will be toally pointless and hope that no one watched it becuase disney is not going to go anywhere with hsm4 when there is nothing else to tlk about with the storyline.

Matt just posted a tweet on Twitter which said;
“the g1 is awesome and yes the bulletin was true and no i wasnt hacked im so thankful for what hsm3 did for me!”
by g1 he means the new phone that he recently got!

Of course he wouldn’t be in it, his character in HSM 3 was only for comic release. How can you use him as a major character when he was just some goofy freako gangster wannabe? Maybe you could create a storyline on the perils of his wannabe wannabe.

SO RIDICULOUS! HSM will not be complete without the cast. Its throwing money into the drain. Can’t they make it homecoming or smth? Where they can keep the cast? As if it will be good.
They are obviously only doing it for the money. I’m not even going to consider watching it without the cast. They may aswell give it a new name and stop trying to drag out the same movie.
It’s bad enough the original cast isn’t in it but no Matt either? That sucks!
A different HSM will totally suck.
