HSM4: No Matt Prokop!
Sources tell JustJaredJr.com that Matt Prokop will not be involved in High School Musical 4.
The 18-year-old actor posted a MySpace bulletin earlier today, saying, “Not only will HSM4 not feature your loved wildcats: Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and Taylor, but I will also not be apart of it. Disney decided to go with a completely different story line. I’m so thankful to be apart of HSM3 before they decided to change everything. Enjoy the new characters……. whoever they will be. Matt.”
True or not, JJJ can reveal that Disney will start casting HSM4 in late summer 2009.

HSM3 ended GREAT! it was a great way for a disney movie to end in a BIG SCREEN!! i think it was stupid to have 3 new casts memebers, they werent good at all, matt, u need to grow up, he talks like he was the head guy, he had like 3 lines in the movie, i COULD CARE LESS IF HE WAS IN IT!! hsm4 will be so stupid! if anything if they really are gonna make it! they should make the main guy ugly and a nerd and the other girl a cheerleader and the cheerleader falling for a ugly guy! U ARE SSOO right the person above me!

they shouldn’t even create a new HSM , because it makes no sense , I mean , sometime it will have to end , and since Ash , Zac and Vanessa are not being part of it , it should just end now . They just don’t know when to stop . . I’m not gonna watch it .

I honestly think HSM4 will suck without zac efron , vanessa hudgens and all the other cast!! they should just leave it the way it is HSM1,2 &3 and not make a new one! i dont think anyones going to watch it

no offense but i wont watch HSM4 if the original cast isnt gonna be there…All the memories of the cast are tied like chains and if that chain is broken..would you REALLY think anyone else would watch it? i mean 3 years of HSM was great because in every movie Zac, Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin, Lucas, Monique, and the WHOLE cast and crew worked together and if HSM4 is without them..i really dont see the point of even watching it…..What Made it Great was the Love the cast shared….Do you really want all the memories shattered into pieces because the cast ended HSM times.Yes There Grown Up Now..but think about it…Its One in a Million that anyone would find the love zac and nessa share..its one in a billion that anyone would find the same love the cast and crew share…and just because they are grown up now…doesnt mean they cant do the very last movie that will bring the movie to a REAL final end. I have ideas to help them but i cant share it with Kenny if the original cast isnt gonna be in it. The Love they shared was strong and it’d be hard after all those years to let it go…Disney Has its plans but just thinking about the fact that they want to take HSM to a new direction just makes me believe that the 4th one would be kinda rubbish…. They Went Through so much!! leaving all those memories behind would make it really hard. They are soo close!! I never want to let them go. seriously…Disney is like FREAKIN’ rich! now they cant pay the orginal cast to film the phenomenon’s College?! im kinda pissed now. Whats the point to even making a freaking 4th HSM if literally half of the earth wants the ORIGINAL cast and Disney cant pay them?! thats just sick! It may seem forever since HSM but Is Losing our Wildcat Gang really worth it? when the phenomenon ended ..disney decided to just change the cast members and go with it and think it would all be the same…but nobody else seems to think that. I know this was a huge money maker for Disney, but they’ve gotta learn when to let go.
Without Troy, Gabriella, Kelsi, Sharpay, Chad, Ryan and Taylor (& Zeke!) there’s nothing. If they’re going to make another musical that takes place in High School, start a whole new franchise.
