The Jonas Brothers Rock Out The Rodeo
RIDE ‘EM, COWBOY!
Nick Jonas keeps it cool in a cowboy hat as the Jonas Brothers rock out at the 2009 Houston Rodeo on Sunday afternoon (March 8).
The 16-year-old musician, along with big bros Joe and Kevin, performed to a sold-out crowd.
The trio wrote on their MySpace, “We are writing to you from our hotel room in Houston, Texas. We are here for the Houston Rodeo. It is a huge rodeo. They bring singers in from all genres of music.They told us that there will be over 72,000+ people here today for our show. This is the biggest audience we have ever performed in front of as headliners. It is very exciting! It is so great to be back out in front of fans. This is what we love doing more than anything.”

The CD, is probebley because everyone already has all of thier songs, So they didnt want to buy the CD that they already have. Plus with the high prices not everyone can afford it. But they arnt slowly fading! They preformed at a SOLD OUT show last night! So that proves they arnt slowly fading!

I went to the concert! IT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They re-created the Burning up tour. They had everything from the opening song theme, to the firworks, to the stage performance, to the finale blowout ending! Their where EXACTLY 72, 475 people that attended the concert, about 73,000 Houstonians (with some outside visitors) It was cool because before the performance the stage sits on the side and they pull it out later after the 2 hr rodeo event ends. Well, before the performance, JB came out and sat down on the stage off to the side and watched some events and then walked back to get ready. IT WAS SOOO COOL BECAUSE THEY MADE THE CONCERT SPECIAL JUST FOR RODEO TEXANS! Nick not only wore a texan hat and Kevin and Joe yelled, “COME ON HOUSTON” they also shared a part of a new song just for us off their new album, and said that they will be posting a part of the concert on the internet, but they also played their cover of their fave country song, “Gonna getcha good” by Shania Twain. They said, “As a treat for singing that new song with us, how do you feel about us playing one of our favorite country songs.” (and of course SCREAMS) It was an amazing night. If you never been to the rodeo, its so much fun! First you go to the carnival and eat, then go to the Livestick show, then head over to the stadium for the rodeo where its 2 hours of RODEO maddness, like barrel racing, cattle roping, bull riding and more. Then when thats over its the concert. JB’s latest and hour and 45 min. After the concert the fun dosn’t stop because then you go eat and more carnival fun. JB IS THE BEST!!!!! THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING and I am glad I was a part of JB’s first rodeo!!!!!!!!

They said they missed us a the Burnin’ Up tour! haha, I was so sad when they didn’t come here on the Burnin’ Up tour. I had a site and petition and everything. I worked my butt off. Hope they don’t forget us on the world tour! We love you! and you guys rocked the rodeo!

i went to that concert last night it was amazing!!!!! i was sitting in the front row and it was the best concert ever! they all looked soooooo good……….i don’t think they are going to fade away anytime soon, just because the movie or the cd didn’t do ok doesn’t mean ppl don’t like them, and yesterday the stadium was full and there were ppl there waiting like three hours before it started so i think they are ok for a while. : )

buttttttt,waiting the whole time was boring cause we were watching the livestock show for about like 1 hour 30 min to 2 hours.
and the show was like an hour which stank.i was like about to cry when they left. D:

I WAS SO THERE.
We thought that the concert started at 3:45 but really it started at 6. So I sat throough like two hours and 45 minutes of rodeo. But Im a true southern girl so I didn’t mind. One guy who was bull riding got hurt and knocked out!!!! And the black guy won! It was amazingg I love rodeos. And then I saw the Jobros sitting to the side which was by where I was sitting and I took like 80 thousand pics of them just sitting there. And then at 6:00 EVERYONE WAS THERE. IT WAS CRAZZYYYY!!! I LOVED ITT. I was soooo jealous of the people who got to go up front by the stage. And they sung year 3000 and these two girls showed up on the screens in year 300 girl costumes haha it was hilarious!
And then I Watched the rest of them and everyone there got to be put on youtube for their new song. Personally I think they messed up the song getcha good a lil bit. I love them forevverr BYE!
that day was amazingg.
I got there at 10:05 and left at 10:00.
When we got there we rode rides and ate.
Then we shopped.
Then we went and watched the rodeo untill 6:00.
THEN WE WATCHED THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!
IT WAS AMAZINGGG.
Nick looked pretty darn good in that cowboy hat.
They all like randomly popped up!
And also Joe ran out into the croud..
We also got to sing their new song with them so it could be put on the internet.
They did a FANTASTIC job and I am glad I got to enjoy myself there.
I LOVE THE JOBROS!!!
All the haters keep on hatingg because to tell you the truth, their still gunna shine like the rockstars that they are!
