Jamie Lynn Spears Goes Country
Jamie Lynn Spears has been living the quiet life in Mississippi since the birth of daughter Maddie last year, but Britney’s lil’ sis is looking for a comeback — in country music!
The 17-year-old former Zoey 101 actress is reportedly working on her debut album. A source close to the family dishes to E!, “[Jamie Lynn] has been quietly working on a country album since last fall.”
Another source shared, “[The Spears family is] trying to get Jamie Lynn a record deal.”
Big sister Britney is currently on her comeback Circus tour.

Anyways, I WOULD say this is an epic phail, but I should atleast hear what she sounds like.
And the child’s not even one yet (Or is she? =/)
So she should atleast wait until the baby’s like 3+.
Because lets say Jamie gets a deal in like a year or so, the baby will be left out in the cold.

hmmm. lets see. she is GORJUZZ. super talented. has sold millions and millions and millions of cds, dated a jonas brother, has fans around the world, made an estimated 26 million dollars in 2008, is about to embark on a world tour, has won numerous awards….but hey. maybe ur right, why WOULD anyone wanna be her, seeing as you know, she has so little going for her….*rolls eyes*

Don’t think Jamie is cut out for country. Too many jokes out their for that. I think she can sing but doesn’t have a great voice. Best shot for her would be indie pop along the lines of Mandy Moore.
Uh, I think she will do a good job, she can sing, after all she does sing her zoey 101 theme song!

everyone should just leave her and taylor alone. jamie lynn didn’t just dump the kid with her mom or kill it, she took on the responsibility and has pretty much been staying out of the limelight to do what’s best for her daughter. there is nothing wrong with taylor swift, she’s really pretty and has a voice. she’s doing something with her life. i thinkjamie lynn is really good at acting, but she should try country! i support her all the way because she’s not scared to follow her dreams
