Ashley Tisdale: Vanessa Didn’t Audition For New Moon
Despite all the numerous confirmations about Vanessa Hudgens not auditioning for the role of Leah in New Moon, it seems that her best friend Ashley Tisdale is setting the record straight once and for all.
The 23-year-old singer, who is in New York to promote her upcoming album Guilty Pleasure, told MTV that Vanessa did not audition for the role.
Ashley shared, “I don’t think so. I think that could have been a rumor. Don’t believe the rumors! She would tell me if she did.”

Well, that clears that rumor up. Thank gawd, for Ashley. See, that just shows that they are really BFF’s. They tell each other everything !! Love them both.

Vanessa herself even said it was a rumor, why are people still talking about it? Why did someone ask Ashley it? I get they are best friends, but what Ashley is doing is about Ashley, not Vanessa. Vanessa said that she would love to be in it, and it is a poss. for Eclipse.
Ashley sets the record straight? I don’t think so. Seeing as how the reps denied it twice and she herself denied the rumors at the Oscars, MTV people are effing idiots to try and claim that this is just being cleared up now. That interviewer was a moron.
