Ashley Tisdale: Vanessa Didn’t Audition For New Moon
Despite all the numerous confirmations about Vanessa Hudgens not auditioning for the role of Leah in New Moon, it seems that her best friend Ashley Tisdale is setting the record straight once and for all.
The 23-year-old singer, who is in New York to promote her upcoming album Guilty Pleasure, told MTV that Vanessa did not audition for the role.
Ashley shared, “I don’t think so. I think that could have been a rumor. Don’t believe the rumors! She would tell me if she did.”

I don’t know what it will take to get it through their heads that it will not happen. She’s being offered and is in talks for much more serious roles. In my opinion, Twilight would be a step backwards. They should concentrate on the current stars and leave her be. Gee.
Btw, this should be about Ashley’s album. I don’t get why the interviewer is using that space to deal with a beaten to death rumor. Except she knows that the combination of the words Vanessa and Twilight in the same breath would get the hits and attention they’re looking for.

No, I go to a lot of V fansites, and she’s kinda been MIA lately. She is getting really good at avoiding the paps, or maybe she is talking to some big execs around Sucker Punch or something. I’m sure she’ll make an appearance soon.

I hate MTV. They always do this ask a celebrity their interviewing about something that has nothing to do with the celebrity. This surpose to be about Ashley’s new album but instead it became about Vanessa.
hah. why would she go audition for a small part in new moon (which if she gets, people will be bashing her non-stop) while there are 2 directors wanting her for big-budget films? she’s better off without the twilight series.
