Jason Earles: ‘You Can’t Shock Miley’
Hannah Montana big brother Jason Earles called into WZAP Radio to talk about his Disney Channel series, his age and his costar Miley Cyrus.
The comedic actor shared about Miley, “She’s sort of like – and don’t take this the wrong way, I hope she doesn’t take this the wrong way – she’s sort of like hanging out with a dude. You can’t say anything to shock her. We spend more time burping and farting around each other on the set – I think people would be just shocked with how non-shockable she is.”
He continued, “She’s also cool to just joke around with. We play a lot of Guitar Hero in her dressing room. When we have breaks, we run out and get sushi together.”

hannah montana is going to cement its place in disney’s hall of fame, i guess. the only other show in disney history that’s reached 100 episodes has been that’s so raven (my second-favorite show :)) and i love jason so much, he’s such a little kid, even though he’s older.

Yeap. Jason is 31 and it’s not been a secret for a very long time now. But it doesn’t surprise me that people of his age feel totally comfortable around Miley even though she is just under half his age. Even Ryan Seacrest said he had the feeling like he could hang out with her, even though he wouldn’t because of her age. Some 16 year olds are mature and some are still 10 year olds. I think the majority of all the kids working for Disney tend to live in a grown up world and are therefor more grownup than the average kid.
I love how cool and chillax Miley is! She is not a stuck up diva at all. Jason Earles is awesome! He is probably the funniest character on the show!

Haha, I think he’s 23. He’s not 31. Buncha stupid rumors. There is no solid proof. I don’t care what Wikipedia or any other thing says.

Yeah, Dana. I didn’t hear anything about his age at all. I don’t believe he’s 31. Someone spread a rumor and then people started thinking it was legit. I think he’s like 23. There’s no proof is him being in his 30’s at all.
Yeah sure imdb, Wikipedia and such say crap but people can edit it. I heard him say in an interview He is a couple of years older then Jackson and that doesn’t mean he’s in his 30’s.

The interviewer makes it clear at the beginning that he’s 31. He also graduated from college in 2001. It’s a matter of public record. No way he graduated college when he was 16. Sorry.
