Vanessa Hudgens: Zac’s Cover Was Sexy!
JJJ caught up with KCA winner Vanessa Hudgens before the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 28).
We asked her all about her new house, guilty pleasures and what she really thought about boyfriend Zac Efron’s Interview mag cover. Check out what the 20-year-old had to say:
On her own guilty pleasure: “Anything chocolate!”
On what she had for breakfast: “I had my whole grain waffles that I made and scrambled eggs.”
On showing off her cooking skills: “I love cooking and I got a new waffle maker. It’s my new favorite thing to make waffles every morning. I’m kind of the worst [at entertaining]. I kinda don’t put out food. I should start though cause I think they get hungry!”
On decorating her new home with designer Kenneth Brown: “I just heard about him, he’s really great. I haven’t gotten everything in yet, but it’s so fun cause it’s so much and it’s very bohemian and I love it.”
On what she thought about Zac Efron’s Interview cover: “It was sexy! It was so hot! I saw it, and I was like, damn!”

I know some people like to dismiss her as a beautiful face and not much else but I’ve always thought there was something very clever about her. She is very media savvy so of course she’s not going to play “jealous” girlfriend in the media or otherwise. Besides, she’s beautiful herself so jealously doesn’t serve her well. I think her reaction was honest….she probably did think the photos were hot. However, I think if the tables were turned and she did such a photo, Zac would be the jealous one. JMO.
Is it just me or does she always sound like a two year old when she answers question???

I’m sorry, but I don’t care how secure you are in your relationship….seeing pictures like those of your significant other had to be hurtful on some level. Can’t help but feel a little disappointed with Zac as he’s always made such a point of not doing things for publicity, but why else would you take photos like that? Call me old fashion, but it just doesn’t compute.
Why is everyone making it seem like Vanessa is such a saint for supporting Zac on his Interview photoshoot? They’ve been in a committed relationship for over 3 years. Why shouldn’t she support her boyfriend for what was a work-related project? There was nothing to forgive.
And as for him being jealous if the tables were turned — he’s already proved that would not be the case when he supported Vanessa during her photo scandal. That by far was more personal and embarrassing since she allegedly took the photo for another guy before she started dating Zac. Yet he stood by her. The point is that they both support each other. So stop attacking Zac and stop putting Vanessa on a pedestal.

I understand that many on this paraticular board are young and can’t grasp the concept that there ARE actually people out there who do not have a certain kind of jealously. They also can deal with a situation for what it is. And in this case it was about work.
There are many adults—particularly in the entertainment business and the arts—who do not have this “shock” or embarrassment factor about n*dity. That is why in art classes all over the country there are models who pose n*de and students who are looking at that model for longs periods of time trying to capture the likeness in a painting. There are many actors who appear n*de on screen with someone other than their significant other and the significant other is not getting bent out of shape or jealous about it.
Kate Winslet just won a ton of awards for a movie where she appears n*de. She was even in a movie that had some very sexually graphic scenes and her HUSBAND happened to be the director of the movie. You didn’t see him getting all upset. Daniel Radclift who is still quite young walked out on stage night after night NAKED. This was a photoshoot for an accepted artsy magazine in which this picture appears. The magazine is known for this type photograph. You may not like it but Vanessa is quite savy about this business and took it in stride as she knew it had nother whatsoever to do with her and Zac’s personal life and emotions for each other. Plus, going into this photoshoot Zac had no idea what to expect from the photographer so it was not like he “planned” it to gain publicity. The same photographer who took the Prince and Princess picture of Zac and Vanessa has contributed to this magazine more than once.
I’m a nurse. I have seen many a naked man and have had to do things that normal women do not do with some unknow man. But it has been my job. My husband doesn’t even give it a thought. It is not like Zac made a date with this model. He did his job—which I’m sure was not the most comfortable job for him—and then went on about his normal likfe as did the model, just like I have done many times. Why do you people keep wanting to go on about this? Every actor will tell in an interview that a n*de scene whether it be on screen, stage, or picture is not the most comfortable thing to do. It is not something particularly enjoyable. As Daniel Radclift said, “you suck it up and get on with it, time is money”. Grow up and get used to reality. There are times you are required to do something that you will not have to do or even choose to do everyday but may come up once in a while. You need to have the guts to face the challenge and get it done and move on.
BTW, it has always been suspected and is now usually reported that that Vanessa’s ONE picture was for Zac, not anyone else. It was reported that it was for Drake Bell who DENIED it and in Seventeen magazine when Vanessa finally spoke about this matter she also firmly denied the picture had been for Bell. Given the fact she met Zac when she was still 16 and they clicked instantly and she says the picture was for someone she was in love with, I seriously doubt it was for some other boy. Now the picture has run it’s course. It is time to drop the matter since it was a private picture and was not ever meant to be seen by anyone else other than the person who the picture is of and the one it was taken for for viewing. I wish people would learn what private means. I’m sure you will learn all about privacy if yours is ever violated.

I new Baby V would be ok with it becasue both of them have each other backs and have been together nearly 4 years it is only people on blogs and the media that make a big deal about stuff.

Vanessa is the cutest thing. Gotta love these two together, they always support eachother.
