Ashley Tisdale: ‘They Came From Upstairs’ Stills
Ashley Tisdale shares a moment with on-screen love interest Robert Hoffman in this still from her upcoming flick, They Came From Upstairs.
In the flick, the 23-year-old actress plays Bethany. They Came From Upstairs follows a group of kids who must protect their vacation home from invading aliens. The flick also stars Everyone Loves Raymond grandma Doris Roberts.
They Came From Upstairs hits theaters on July 31.

Love the pics! I think this will be a good kid/family summer movie. Its not the best plot but hopefully it’ll make lots of $$$ and lead to better and bigger roles for Ashley

She looks pretty in the caps. The movie seems kind of like a weird premise. I hope for her sake it does well.
I wonder if she’s going to play into the promotion of the film heavily, or if she’ll opt to distance herself from the project just to avoid type-casing issues? She’s been pretty adamant in a lot of her interviews and quotes lately that she wants to break out of the teen/Disney-princess mold and be seen as a viable twenty-something actress/songstress. This role looks like it shoves her right back into the teen/Disney-era mold she’s trying to avoid. I wouldn’t blame her if she did downplay this role because it does seem more of the same-old, same-old teen fare, which isn’t a bad thing, it’s a paycheck and kids need movies too. But if you’re trying to distance yourself from the teen role and be seen as an adult actress ready for mature roles, I wouldn’t blame her for letting the rest of the cast take over promotional duties.

this movie will be a great family movie and it will be fantastic because i was the stunt double for ashley and she is a great actress and my mum also worked on it as the production manager. so dont judge a movie by its cover feature(;
