Zac Efron is Jonny Quest
Zac Efron makes a few jokes in these new promos for this week’s Saturday Night Live. The 21-year-old High School Musical hottie will be hosting this week with musical guests Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Tune into NBC this Saturday at 11:30/10:30c.
The LA Times is reporting that Zac has secured the lead role in the remake of the classic animated series Jonny Quest.

Aw, those are funny. I think he is going to be great on SNL, and I’m taping it! And rewatching it like 400 times. Can’t wait, it looks like he’s going to be good in the whole skit thing, some actors can’t do it, I hope he does well!

i definitely think he’ll be able to hold his own with these guys. he seems like he’s able to keep a straight face (noticed that on the graham norton show too) so i think he’s going to be able to pull off the sketches without losing it (can be hard to do in front of a live audience).
