iCarly Goes Green
Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress take a break on the set of iCarly in this new behind-the-scenes shot from an upcoming episode.
In the new episode “iGo Green,” Carly (Cosgrove) inadvertently builds an illegal nuclear-powered generator while trying to complete a school assignment for an environmental project.
Creator Dan Schneider tweeted about the ep, “Nickelodeon begged me to do a “green” episode. So I did. But it’s NOT PREACHY AT ALL! Promise! I have done no research on Global Warming, so I know nothing about it. My point is: I make shows to ENTERTAIN — not preach to people.”
“iGo Green” airs Wednesday, April 22 @ 8PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

I could have helped Dan out. I’m both an iCarly fan, and train fan, and today’s locomotives have 70% less emissons, and by next year all new locomotives will be Hybrid locomotives. So if I told Dan that the writing should be about comparing to regular diesel fueled locomotives, and Hybrid locomotives, that would have made a great Green iCarly episode for me, and if Miranda, and Jennette would love trains as much as I do I would be in heaven.
