Vanessa Hudgens is Self Sweet
Vanessa Hudgens is set to cover the May 2009 of Self magazine.
The 20-year-old, who is currently in NYC to support boyfriend Zac Efron’s hosting on SNL tonight, dished to the mag about keeping herself protected at all times.
Vanessa shared, “I keep a Taser in my purse for self-defense. I’m moving into a house by myself, and it’s scary.”
As for going au naturel, Vanessa revealed, “Sometimes I feel prettier without makeup. You take it off and you’re like, Oh, there I am! But red lips make me feel sexy . . . It brings out the vixen in you.”
Nashville princess Taylor Swift took the mag’s March 2009 cover.

She is one true beauty. I’m so glad she found out that less is more when it came to makeup. In the early days when she would appear at award shows with the other HSM cast she just wore more makeup than she needed—actually she needs none at all—and it took away from her looks. I loved how she said last year when she was featured in People as one of the most beautiful women that someone she cared a geat deal about finally made her feel that she was beautiful without any makeup. That was sweet. I got to say how much I love her hair just like this.

I think that Vanessa looks very sexy and beautiful without to much effort it just seems to come naturally you can see why Zac is so taken with her.
And so what if Ashley did a cover in a bikini there’s no law that says that only one person is allowed and Zac had his photo shoot with a naked model on top of him so I don’t see what the fuss is with Vanessa’s shot she has clothes on, but as usual she can’t do right for wrong, she is 21 this year so obvioulsy she is going to be on more grown upmagazines and seings she likes to keep fit it seems like a good mag for her to be on.
Seems that Zac picked her up from the airport in NY to there’s a photo on one of her other sites with both her and Zac having a picture taken with fans, great that she is there with him and also they get to spend some time out of LA. and together.
You never know we might get some pictures from the After Party of the show at least the main thing is that they make time to support each other and make time to hook up even where their apart, that’s good in a relactionship it’s what helps to keep it strong still making ime to be together even though your work can sometimes keep you apart.
Wonder if she’ll come back with Zac it would make sense or I would’n be suprised if they get back into LA. without being noticed either way I hope they had a great time in NY and got in some R&R as Zac has a few busy days ahead of him before the L.A premier next week.

you know, this is really not intended to be a sexy pose. her arm is partially obscuring her abdominal area and she’s got a cover up on. plus the way she is positioned is definitely showing a playful innocence rather than major sex appeal. i think this is a very appropriate cover for someone her age and who is trying to transition herself. this is a far cry from “sports illustrated swimsuit edition.”
