Vanessa Hudgens shows off a cool pair of jeans in one of many new behind-the-scenes shots from her Ecko Red photo shoot.
The 20-year-old Bandslam actress is the face of the young women’s clothing brand. Check out her Ecko Red promo video!
Vanessa will cover the May 2009 issue of Self magazine. She revealed to the mag that she never leaves home without some sort of protection, saying, “I keep a Taser in my purse for self-defense. I’m moving into a house by myself, and it’s scary.”

You people gotta get a life. You ALL sound like stalkers when it comes to Vanessa. No wonder she carries a taser in her purse!
If she is so scared to live alone in her own house that might be a clue she shouldn’t live alone. She is so cute, but always sounds so stupid at times. I wonder if she has a brain or is just your typical Hollywood Barbie doll with a cute Ken doll boyfriend.
I really try to like her but when she opens her mouth their is just something that is so phony about her.

Darling. If you don’t like her, you probably shouldn’t be here. I think is understandable that she’s scared of living alone. I mean, that’s usually a big step you know?. I soon will be living by myself, and I’m kinda scared too XD. But anyway, I think is very smart to carrie something to defense yourself. If only my best friend’s aunt knew that, probably she wouldn’t be dead. But I guess that’s another topic.

Colleen, calm down. We’re her fans not stalkers. Stalkers are literally that, people who physically follow your every footstep and wait outside your home or workplace just to catch a glimpse or get ahold of you.

@colleen: Why was that comment offensive? I think it’s smart that she carries some kind of protection. She’s twenty years old and just moving out on her own. It’s scary proposition and many people find it so. I was twenty when I moved out on my own and I found it a bit frightening at first. And I’m a guy.
I get so tired of seeing her get slammed for saying things that PRETTY much anybody would say.
give her some slack, guys! she is only 20 and she has to fight against constant rumours about her and Zac, invasions into her private life and hyper attention from paparazzi in general… and she still is very positive and going strong and i do respect her for this ability to focus on good stuff and just move forward!
