Zac Efron Covers GQ Magazine

Zac Efron does a little dance in this new pic from the upcoming May 2009 issue of GQ magazine .

The 21-year-old actor dished to the mag about his new flick, 17 Again, his future film career and keeping HSM loot in his trunk. Check it:

On keeping a few HSM posters with him at all times: “I’ve kinda got it figured out. I just pull in to the lot at [a movie studio] and they can’t follow me. The first time I did it, they weren’t going to let me in. The guy at the gate was like, ‘What are you gonna do for me?’ I said, ‘What do you want me to do?’He’s like, ‘I got kids.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I got a poster in the trunk!’ It’s smart to keep some swag in the trunk, just in case.”

On what’s in stores for his future: “I’m truly ready right now. I can’t wait, dude. I’m going to do something—something cool. Something people aren’t necessarily expecting.”

On working with 17 Again director Burr Steers: “He messed with my head a little bit. There were scenes where I had to be pissed, so he’d be a total a–hole all morning, to make me a little bit on edge. I had no idea what he was doing until after the movie was over. I just thought he was a huge a–hole. But it turns out he’s incredibly smart. He doesn’t just give you what you want to hear and tell you that you’re doing a great job. It’s a different kind of love and support.”

I personally got married at age 27 and don’t regret it I was with my boyfriend for 3 years before we got married and this year we have been married for 20 years and actually been together for 24 years in total and we started going out on the same date as my mom and dad’s wedding anniversary the 4th April.

And as I have said before I think the late 20’s is a good time to consider taking that big step if it’s both partys want I always wanted kids but I’m glad that I had mine at the ages that I did and not any younger it’s a big step even my daughter who is 19 this year and has friends who have had kids from the age of 16 has said herself that yea she wants kids but not for ages yet as she can just about look after herself let alone a baby so she wants to wait until she has a secure job and a place of her own then kids might be a option but not until then so I say great thinking why rush into something as important and life changing as marriage and having kids are at a young age if you know yourself that your not ready and your gonna do it just to please other people that’s not how it should be. So I think that both Zac and Vaness have the right idea about it they had a teenage romance and now there into a adult one personally they will change it’s part of growing up and their outlooks will change but I’ve a feeling one thing that won’t change is their bond, love and commitment to each other I may be wrong as I don’t know them personally but it’s just the feeling I get but only time will tell but they have each other and have a understanding of each other that only they know and that’s what will help with the changes they are bth facing and will contiune to face as they grow up.

Since a lot of people seem to be hung up on the curssing I half expected Zac to be dropping so many F-bombs that a sailor would blush. I didn’t think it was that excessive. But at the same time it wasn’t really necessary either. If it was an attempt to make him sound “more grown-up and edgy” then it failed. Excessive cussing doesn’t make anybody sound “grown-up and edgy” it just makes them sound course and uneducated. Zac is 21-years-old and he’s more then old enough to know that, I figured that out when I was six years old. Now maybe that’s just the way Zac actually talks and if that’s the case, then I will have to give him points for at least keeping it real.

when it comes to marrige for zac (with vanessa), I think hes just scared. com’on 40? or never? Hes going to change his mind when he gets older (perhaps 30, 35?). and I’m sure vanessa feels the same. its too early for marrige, but theyr still together. Im sure with souch strong love as zanessa has it will last til the day zac proposes to vanessa.
