Zac Efron: ‘There’s No Way To Fake A Slap’
Zac Efron is all set to premiere his new flick, 17 Again, tomorrow night (April 14) and took a break to talk with TeenHollywood.com all about it. Check out what the 21-year-old actor had to say:
On hosting Saturday Night Live: “I’m so excited to host SNL. It’s been a dream of mine since I was like 10 years old. I mean, improv is pretty much how I got started. They do more sketch comedy but this is how I started. This is what I want to get back to. I think it’s going to be a great week. I can’t wait.”
On getting slapped by all the ladies in the flick: “It was amazing watching everybody have so much fun that night. No, it was funny, it started slow and Tom was very nice about it. He was like, ‘There’s no way to fake a slap. We’re just going to have to go for it’. And he did. He knew how to do it. We had a stunt coordinator that day who was instructing everyone how to slap and he goes, ‘You guys really got to sell it! You have to slap him!’ And I’m sitting there like ‘they’re slapping me, bro!’
On the light-saber fight with costar Tom Lennon: “Yes [it was fun]. I hit Tom [in the head]. There were a couple injuries, but I hit Tom pretty hard one day and I just thank God it was during rehearsals with the rehearsal light sabers because if we had been filming a real take, we’d use real light sabers. I’m pretty sure he would have had less face right now.”
17 Again hits theaters THIS Friday!

Omg I can’t wait for Friday. I am so going to see 17 again two times. I am a huge Zac Efron fan. I saw him on SNL he did amazing job. Zac Efron will become a even Bigger movie star.
I also can’t wait to see Zac in Me And Orson Welles. I will always support Zac Efron.

wow, 17 again was an amazing movie, I’ve already seen it 3 times at the cinema.(came out in the uk on Friday!!) it’s hilariously funny, and zac is definately far away from troy Bolton in this, trust me.
it’s also kinds sad though, I cried at the end 
I would recommend that everyone goes to see it, as you see a new side of zac and it’s a great movie.

I’m so anxious to see the movie. I think I will have to wait until Saturday, however. So, who has a video of Zac on the Today show? I wasn’t able to see it. I saw him on The View and he looked really good. There wasn’t anything really outstanding about the interview but I loved it when Joy reached over and and swiped that one piece of hair out of his face on the left side. LOL You go, Joy, I’ve been wanting to do that so much lately.
Zac, you did great on SNL. Can’t wait for 17 again to hit my theater.

@Bradley: Yeah, Bradley I know. Sometimes or most times, the film studios have private previews/screenings of the movies and sometimes the celebrities make an appearance…I’d been to one before, and if I recall, Meredith Veira (from the Today Show) had mentioned that her daughter was seeing the preview today…in NYC…
@Bradley: Yeah, I plan on seeing it on Friday too…David Letterman tonight, and then back to LA for Ellen and the Jimmy Kimmel Show.

The David Letterman show is taped. I know that for sure because I have had Friends in NYC who have want to the tapeing.
I also know that David Letterman show is taped I Believe in the Afternoon or 5:30pm. So Zac is already or has taped David Letterman and him and Vanessa will talke red eye back to La late night.
