Switchfoot Calls Out Jonas Brothers

Switchfoot Calls Out Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers are being called out — by Switchfoot!

The band is calling out the teen musicians to help the Invisible Children campaign, a worldwide rally against the abduction of children in Uganda.

On Saturday, April 25th, the international community will unite to deliver the innocent from Joseph Kony’s reign and ensure he is brought to justice. Thousands of participants will gather in 100 cities across the world to symbolically abduct themselves to free the abducted.

Other celebs such as Kristen Bell and Joel Madden have joined in the rally. For more information, check out InvisibleChildren.com.

i hope the jonas brothers help them! its a good cause1

Its a very good cause, but these guys called them out and have now put them in an unbelievably hard situation. Because if they dont go because they have other commitments, then the media will target the JoBros as bad people, so now that have to go. Kind of a low move by Switch Foot. These concerts all over the world will be packed to capacity with or without the JoBros so i really hope they dont feel obligated. Great cause, but they do so much other stuff that isn’t publicized! They are great dudes.

The way they symbolically abduct people is that a group of people camp out in a park overnight and write letters to congress urging for their support. The group stay in the park until the morning when they are rescued by a celebrity, it is a different celebrity at every event across the nation. There is live media coverage and politicians as well as actors, activists, and other supporters at each event.

I think it’s really good how invisible children have managed to get bands and such involved.
Kids who like such people will be enfluenced by them, which also means invisible children the support and help that they need to get.

I was meant to be part of this, saddly i can’t make it anymore, which sucks a millions times than words could imagine.
This is a massive issue that i think everyone in their teens should be included in. The whole thing has been apart of my life for a few months now, all thanks to Mr Beel my amazing R.E teacher!

I hope the Jonas go along and help!
It would really make me more than happy to see that they care and are putting themselves out there (:
