Vanessa Hudgens keeps it comfy in a plaid shirt as she stops for a little retail therapy at the Diesel store in West Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon (April 21).
The 20-year-old actress, who toted around her new fave JJ Winters Zipper Bag, was just confirmed to star as the female lead in Beastly.
Based on Alex Flinn’s book of the same name, the movie will be set in Manhattan and the “Beast” is a handsome rich kid with a mean streak. When he ditches a date, the yet-to-be cast character turns out to be a witch who curses him to become everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell.
Model-turned-actor Alex Pettyfer is in talks to play the “Beast,” Kyle.

I think it’s funny how everyone here is trashing her saying she has no talent. Yet, she’s really only done the HSM series. I could say the same thing for everyone in that film. Yet everyone chooses to pick on Vanessa. Why don’t you wait until she does a role with more substance before you make your decision on if this 20 year old girl who’s truly on beginning her career can act or not?
As far as the outfit it fits her style. She’s wearing shorts and it’s meant to look like a dress i’ve seen countless of them. She’s innovative with the way she dresses and I like creativity and innoventaion. It says alot about her personality and perhaps her career.

She looks as stunning as ever and casually chic. I’m loving how hands on she is with doing up her house, shopping with the deigner and picking pieces herself. U imagine she’ll have her personality stamped on the house.
It’s great to see a 20 yr old woman put so much care and time into making a home as opposed to having a decorator decorate a house.
How like her to fit that seamlessly into her very busy schedule and yet always appear as if she’s at leisure.
I hope she manages to get her home finished before her crazy schedule starts.

Did you know that Indiana Jones was first offered to Tom Selleck instead of Harrison ford? Not that I believe the roll was offered to three people any more than you do, but maybe now the right person has the role. She is putting the finishing touches on her house so that involves shopping. All the things they atteded this weekend alone an yet you begrudge her a shopping trip?

To those who doubt her, you will only look like fools. As Zac has said, she is funny and driven and will go very far because she is so talented. Besides that, the boy couldn’t keep his hands off her on Sunday at the game. Totally in love, it’s so cute to see. They are both amazing.
