Wizards of Waverly Place Renewed For Third Season, Movie To Air In August
Wizards Of Waverly Place has just been renewed for a third season and it was just announced that the WOWP movie that was filming in Puerto Rico earlier this year will premiere in August.
The Wizards movie, which stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin, will follow the Russo kids as they embark on a vacation to the Caribbean resort where their parents met. Interviews from the set to be posted soon!
The movie was written by Dan Berendsen who wrote Hannah Montana The Movie and the upcoming Camp Rock 2.

Oh, so it’s just a TV movie. That’s good. That makes more sense. Don’t know if I’ll watch it, but good luck to them on their 1st movie!
I read on another article that they are gonna sell merchandise of the movie like crazy when it comes out cuz Disney wants to make Wizards their next franchise like HSM and HM.

@arantxa: Um the Hannah Montana Movie HAD to be better because DUH! it’s in theaters and is EXPECTED to be better than a TV movie.
I hope the Wizards movie (and Princess Protection Program) does well and is better than last summer’s crap (Camp Rock and Cheetah Girls: One World).

K I’m definitely watching the Wizards Movie but Camp Rock 2 and HSM4? Uh..is it really that hard for Disney to think of a new musical-style movie?! They made the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin and they can’t whip up another movie? *shakes head*

August?!! YESS!!! That’s like around the time the Hannah Montana: The Movie comes out on dvd. I’m gonna have myself a little movie party by first watching the HM movie on dvd and then watching the Wizards movie on TV right after. ahh… two movies based on my favorite TV shows. Woo hoo! Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus is the best! Selena is just trying to look nice and Miley learned from her mistakes. Selena is lucky because she saw her mistakes and she won’t do them but that doesn’t mean she’s a better role model than Miley. Miley’s being a human being and she tells her fans to not do the same mistakes. It’s so hard to live with all of the paparazzis and gossip sites and she’s dealing with them pretty good. I don’t hate Selena but just saying that stop judging Miley. Miley’s the teen queen of Hollywood. And I think that’s why every time I saw a new about Selena someone always bring Miley. I wrote it here because it’s supposed to be about Wizards Movie not Hannah Montana or anything. Thank you for reading this. God bless yall!

@jenny: sweetheart, Miley Cyrus has had three number one movies and four ablums already! Selema dose not have half of the success Miley makes. and Unlike Selena, Miley’s movies actually make it to the big screen while Selena just goes striaght to DVD. Everything Selena dose goes no where. If Disney were to make Wizards a big screen production, they would get embrassed cause no one wants to pay to see a 16 year old act like a little-miss-know- it-all. I can’t even belive they have the nerve to give this child a RECORD DEAL when her voice is totally over computerized! Even Miranda Cosgrove sounds better than her!! Seriously, once Wizards is over Selena will go down the drain while Miley will still be making millions. So, Hannah is FAR FROM LAME DEAR. Lame is watching a sixteen year old wreck a perfectly good Hilary Duff movie. They should have let Ashley Tisdale play that part.
And I don’t see how you have the nerve to call her lame when she is the one who made your little goddness famous. Her and that dochebag ex of hers. So get it right daer!
