“Five Easy Pieces” is considered one of the best American movies ever made. It’s nice to see Zac and Vanessa showing an appreciation for the classics and not just going for what’s “in” right now.

That’s one thing I like about Zac and Vanessa they don’t have to go out to have a good night and be plastered all over the paper’s the next morning for being seen in the hot spots, like a normal couple they do things like this, and to be honest I think it’s just as a good way to have a movie night just like going to the cinema and after all the travelling that Zac has done you can blame him for wanting to just relax and spend some alone with time his girl.

My my…..Zac is one lucky guy, he gets to be lazy and Miss Vanessa does all the running around, I guess shopping can be a sport huh, he is one very lucky dude. For that matter, anyone who has Vanessa for a partner is very lucky because she is grounded and traditional, like everyone, we were born to make mistakes but we learn from them like she has so haters, ease up on her she’s normal and like one of us only with the opportunity to make music and movies.

Nothing to be sorry about, being lazy is a loose term. Anyway, that “tattoo” I’m not surprised if it is one of those stick ons which is more likely. I agree with everyone else, nothing like a good ole movie to watch with your loved one in the comfort of your own home. This is one of the many things we love about her and Zac as a couple.

When me and my family went to Florida last year the jet lag took about a week to wear off it really throws all your system out.

I for one enjoy a movie night in even if it’s on my own as I pop in one of my favourite DVD’s, glass of wine and some chooclate and I’m good for the night, obvioulsy it’s better if hubby is curled up beside me but if he’s having a night out the kids are out I think why not.

And this is one of the things that make Zac and Vanessa so different in a good way in Hollywood like I said before they enjoy the simple things like a movie night in rather than falling out of clubs drunk, or just going to the ‘ hot spots ‘ knowing they will get their photo on the front page the next day, they enjoy quality time together and especially if one of them has been away working you don’t see much of them once they are back together and that’s good and who can blame them for it as before long they will both be very busy with different things so good for them enjoying time together out of the spotlight.

But also they do go and visit each other when they are working away I would imagine when possible but there’s always phoning, texting to me they seem like a couple who make the effort to keep the lines of communication open no matter what the distance between them becuase that is a very important part of a relactionship when the job involves seperations like their’s.

They are enjoying their life together in the now and that’s how it should be whatever happens in the future will happen and I for one hope they face it together like they have done everything so far, but who know’s certainly not me it’s just nice to see a young couple so committed to each other while getting a carrer off the ground to.

It’s nice that Zac and Vanessa stay at home and watch old movies. It give Zac and Vanessa time together before he leaves for Japan next week.

She really looks beautiful here, love that dress. I’m pretty sure that tattoo is a temporary thing—like someone mentioned it’s probably a henna one. We have seen her with one before and it wasn’t in this spot and the spot it was before there isn’t one there now. She loves fashion and I see her as liking this type thing once in a while. She likes change so I have a feeling she will not have a permanent one any time soon.

The paps follow this girl all over the place so I’m sure someone followed her to Zac’s house and that how they know where she went after she got the movie. Have you ever watched a TMZ video how they talk about them and what they did and where they went? It goes to show how they follow them until they can’t follow any longer. It seems like they get once set of pics they are not satisfied with that and keep following in hopes of getting more. Once they end up at Vanessa’s or Zac’s then the paps are done.

I’m not really fond of Zac’s house but it looks like a great place to settle in to see a movie and you knows maybe they had a few friends in to watch a movie with them. His house looks like a place where there is a projection room and where there would be video game systems, etc. After all the traveling and work Zac has done on promoting 17 Again he probably just wants to lay low and relax and catch up with friends.

Celebrities use social networks sites (twitters, myspace, facebook) to promote themselves or a project. It is a tool( like “dancing on tables at a club” or “ kissing your new bf in front of the paps”) to keep their name in the media and with consumers (a.k.a fans). The idea is you (the fans) will spend your money ( or parent’s money) on your celebrity’s movie, CD or tour, if you believe you have a relationship with the celebrity( the celebrity is like a friend).

Think about it you’re not going to buy a CD of celebrity you don’t like of course not, but if you believe that Demi Lovato (as an example) is just like you. You will be more incline to watch her TV-show, buy her CD and support her tour. There’s nothing wrong with that because the entertainment industry is a world-wide muliti-billion dollar business and that’s how the money is made.

BTW: everyone you mentioned as a project (tours, TV shows) to promote for the studio that they are signed with.

Zac and Vanessa do not have Twitter, Myspace or Facebook but they want to be taken seriously as actors. They do not want to see as simply “media personalities”. Zac and Vanessa’s “thinking fans”(see through the Hollywood b.s) appreciate that attitude.

I like Zac and Vanessa (together and separate) and do not care how they treat they fans but I care about the quality of the projects they want me to support.

How they live the lives is their business. If they sign autographs or take pictures with fans is their business.

Is Vanessa self-absorbed? Don’t know, but I know most young people are whether they are famous or not. ( if doubt that, check out your local college or high school)

lol, we Vanessa fans are not complaining. I don’t know why it’s bothering non-fans. We feel she cares for us the way we want to be cared for and we feel privileged to be her fans.

We have no desire whatsoever to know her daily routines or have her promote herself, one strong reason why many of us are her fans and not fans of other young celebrities is simply because she does not use all those rubbish, Myspace, twitter, Facebook and video blogs to put herself out there. She doesn’t need to impress anybody.

Hence why we believe her when she says she is a private person, she backs it up with her actions and that appeals to us. We are content with what is already available in the public domain which is too much already. We like that she’s like the older actresses who keep their private lives to themselves and keeps herself separate from young Hollywood in that respect.

Many fans have met her and she has been sweet and nice, her co-workers say the same and more importantly we love that she doesn’t patronize us by pretending to be what she’s not, she’s always herself and we love that about her. She doesn’t pretend to be perfect so we love her flaws and all.

She has her life and is entitled to it, we have ours and are entitled to ours. Our decisions to become fans are voluntary so she doesn’t have to go out of her way to be something she’s not to keep us. We’ll stay anyway and we’ll rather she focuses on the career we support.

She brings us so much pleasure with her movies, songs, photoshoots and conduct, that’s enough care and thanks for us.

You see, it takes a certain type of person to be a fan of Vanessa. Anyone who wants to know the details of a star’s life and wants to be catered to will not really get her neither will they fit in.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions but I suggest you concentrate on the stars you love (and stick to their threads) and leave Vanessa alone, she’s way out of your league, that’s why you will never get her.
We don’t expect you to appreciate or like what you don’t understand so stick to what appeals to you and we’ll stick to ours.

I can list all the fan encounters I’ve heard when Zac was a total ******* especially during the HSM 3 premieres but I’m not going to do so because it serves no purpose and he’s just a human being.

I would just like to point out to you that what you say about Vanessa can be and has been said about Zac so it’s pointless to write a post defending him and in the same post accusing Vanessa of baseless accusations. We’ve heard all those before and they don’t wash.

You don’t think Zac is aware of his looks?!! under which basket are you hiding? Between Zac and Vanessa who is more hyped about their looks and who has been criticised for wearing sunglasses indoors or wearing too much make-up?

I swear every time I am out I see people talking on cell phones in their cars and I hear people talking when nobody is around in stores and find that they are talking to someone on a cell phone. People do not know how to just be ALONE and I mean just have time for themselves. They don’t know what to to do without having a phone to their ear or texting or whatever. Some of that stuff becomes a habit. Like Zac said on the Ellen show, he guessed he was old fashioned and he liked talking to his friends. And I’m sure with as busy as he and Vanessa are they have little time to do much of that so I’m sure they are not interested in reaching out day in and day out talking to people they don’t know and have never met. I for one am not insulted by that. I doubt that anyone was ever put out by the likes of Paul Newman or Steve McQueen or even Jack Nicholson for not staying in touch with them every minute of the day.

And lol, before you find fault with something else I have written, I seriously doubt that all pictures of our couple will sell. I have heard things on TMZ where they have talked about Vanessa going to Zac’s house and vise versa but have seen no pictures of it. Some pictures are not taken or not sold. It that hard to believe or understand? I’m sure if the pap that sits outside Zac’s house could take a pictures everyday of one or the other one coming and going to each other’s houses. But we don’t see that, do we?

Yes, I know that but what people want to say is she has a personal myspace where she talks to people, etc. That’s what I was commenting about.

What I don’t understand is this: why is it when Zac does something or says something and Vanessa does it too that people can find fault with Zac and not Vanessa OR VISE VERSA? As Naomi said there will be just as many accounts of Zac being a rude or whatever the same as Vanessa and usually it depends on whether or not the person posting that stuff is a Zac or a Vanessa fan. That is not rocket science. Both Vanessa and Zac are human. They both have bad moments and some of those bad moments may be justified. Did anyone think of that? Maybe they were really treated badly and it suddenly struck them wrong and they withdrew but all you seeing the video or hearing this report didn’t get to hear about the bad stuff that may have gone on. They can’t be letter perfect all the time.

We who view the pictures, watch the videos, read the fans’ accounts are not THERE and do not have the complete background knowledge of what always goes on and it is unfair to judge either of these kids so harshly. Just think if there are 100 fans standing around and they are trying to get from point A to point B within a certain length of time or are just trying to have a day of rest. Thinking about that little fact, do any of you really think that all 100 people are going to get an autograph? Do you think some will be left out? Do you think any of them will go off and say Vanessa or Zac was stuck up? If any of you say that none of those fans in that situation would never say that then you are crazy. Many people who do not get what they want will be critical.

Maybe when they are at a function the PR people are the ones pushing them along so they can’t sign autographs the way they may have if they were not being told what to do. think sometimes we see scowls on their faces because of being told what to do by these people. I think they get tired of being pushed and shoved and told what to do . But then there will be some fan who complains and says they are full of themselves. During the London premiere of HSM3 there were several who came on these boards to say that either Vanessa or Zac were rude and not signing autographs, etc. Then someone else would come on and say they were there and saw everything and it was because some PR or Disney person was trying to get him here or there to take a picture or to get them inside and that is why they couldn’t sign autographs.

All I’m saying is some of you need to think outside the box, consider other possibilities, and understand if the criticism is coming from someone who simply dislikes one or the other of these two so that they “opinion” may be somewhat clouded.

I did not say Ashely used to exploit her past relationship but she is using twitter to promote herself by talking about her personal life.

During HSM3 promo(2008), Ashley complained about the paps following her to Coffee Bean, shopping,etc. Now it’s 2009, she has to promote her CD and her career( for future projects), she detailing her daily activities whether going to the hair salon or going on date with ‘hot guy”. She tweeted that she was going to a Dodger game and lo and behold paps pictures of Ashley at the game.

I’m not bashing her( I do like Ashley and think she really talented) but if she want to paps to follow her for publicity that’s fine. Look how well that plan worked out for Lindsay Lohan and how it helped her career.

BTW, I’m not trying to get testy here but this all get rather tiring after awhile. It is very hard to cover every single aspect of a situation every time. On the one hand if you don’t cover everything then there is sure to be someone who will point out what you overlook as if you don’t know this. One the other hand if you cover everything then some smart alack will be sure to complain about your long drawn out post since many cannot read more than 25 words at on one post or they get distracted.

I’m going to have to bump in here. I’m not a Miley fan but that’s not fair to Miley. As far as I’m concerned she and Ashley uses twitter to talk about their personal lives and career. You can’t determine that Ashley only wants to help her career and Miley does not want to.

From what I heard Ashley tweeted that she was going to the salon and lo and behold paps conveniently got pics of her doing so, she tweeted about going to work out and same thing happened, she tweeted about ‘going out with her HOT guy’ and lo and behold, pics of her cuddling with a guy who was looking straight at the camera surfaced.

I may be daft but I am not sure how tipping off paps and getting pics of you cuddling with a guy is helping your career. Neither do I get how arranging for a play date with Miley and Perez Hilton help your career but then I’m old fashioned and she’s entitled to her life choices.

Just don’t try to put down Miley when Ashley is doing worse. At least Miley is not yet tipping off paps and the same argument can be used for both of them using twitter. you guys should stop trying to put down others while defending your favorite stars for the same things.

Using twitter is not a bad thing. It appeals to some people it doesn’t appeal to others. Ashley uses twitter same as Miley, Selena, Demi Perez, John Mayer etc they are all celebrities that tweet about their lives and careers. fans that it appeals to follow them and are free to defend them, others stay away and follow stars that don’t use twitter.
They are also free to say why it does not appeal to them.

You either tweet or you don’t, period! No one of them is making better use of it than the other so there’s no need to put one down when the one you’re defending is doing worse. Sheesh!

I am always proud of the way Vanessa carries herself. She has yet to contradict herself in a public manner. She is who she says she is. She doesn’t believe in allowing the paps to access to her life, so she doesn’t twitter about it to get free publicity. I find that refreshing, and I personally believe that it is a breath of fresh air to see celebs as young as them, grab a hold onto living a normal life, and keeping their private and work life two completely seperate categories. I find the Twitter phenomenon seriously disturbing. Why does anyone need to know what someone else is doing, feeling, or thinking 24/7?? Where is their sense of privacy?? And why on earth would this nonsense make me want to go out and buy their CD or see their movie??? Fat chance. Instead it sickens me, and I get sick of seeing and reading about them all the time. It’s OVERKILL, or overexposure, in my mind.

Hiya, Karen. I will give Zac the benefit of doubt. My instinct tells me that Zac is a one woman man no matter what the mag. interview portrays him to be. Words are just that words but true feelings is evident in Zac’s candid pics with Vanessa. He treasures her and every gesture shows it.

Forgive me, but I agree with the rest about twittering your agenda for the day for the world to see. If this is not for publicity, hit me with a hammer. Attention seeking is the word.

The thing is neither Zac or Vanessa are perfect they have flaws just like anybody else, they also have the same feelings as everyone else and I dare say that some of what is written can be hurtful which is a good job that they seem to have such a solid relactionship and each know’s what the other would probably say to certain questions so they will know I would imagine after nearly 4 year’s together what has had things twisted or added to sell the paper’s.

They are both now venturing in to the adult world where everything changes and their still finding their way and learning how to deal with the adult side of the buisness.

I agree about the twittering, facebook etc why on earth would we need to know every little thing they do I for one don’t and am just as happy to see pictures and video’s of them attending things or promoting things after that what they do in their own time is private and should remain so, I mean come on who needs to know how many times they went for coffee, got gas for their cars, etc. And what I like with these two is that when they say they want to keep their personal life private and what they have private they really mean it, okay they have been photgraped on vacation but it was still a private thing and why shiould’nt they go on holiday and behave like any other young couple the press will find them whatever it takes but that does’nt mean they should lock themselves away all the time just to get some quality time.

As it’s been said many times before whatever will be will be in their relactionship but we’re not in it they are and they don’t seem to be in any hurry to get away from each other and find new partner’s, I think they make a great couple but if they split they spilt we can’t stop it but I serioulsy don’t think they will, they seem to have something special that they have found in each other and they were friends first before anything else and all that’s happened is that those feelings have grown just like they have. They are both living in the moment and that’s the best thing anybody can do.

By now you should all know that if it starts with tha National Enquirer 99 times out of 100 it’s made up trash. Why would a girl who never make comment on her relationship suddenly com out with this? Just think about it. If she wanted out of her relationship, like I’ve said in the past they are not married nor do they have children, nothing but their love for one another is keeping them together.
I agree with Malia post. Zac is trying to change his image, I get that. but he should think before he makes these little comments. He should know by now that everything he says is going to be taken apart and examined from every angle. His PR people need to tone it back a bit. Baby steps Zac or you’ll come off looking like a creep.

Thank you. I don’t think people get me sometimes. But I can’t tell you how many times in the past several months I have said how Vanessa and Zac WILL NEVER NEVER EVER tell the public even if they are planning to get married. They may easily say they have no intention of marrying in the next 10 years and we may read in the next ten months that they have done just that. And that’s how I expect them to do it if they ever do—keep it under wraps for as long as they can so as to keep it private. They have so little to call their own and I’m sure that is very special and scared to them. And I bet they get a laugh when they have pulled a fast one. Red herrings? Yes, I think we get them all the time and I have a feeling we will get a whole lot more as time goes on.

Changing Zac’s image? Yeah, I think sometimes PR people push too hard in saying you got to do this and do that, etc. And I’m sure some of the younger stars might get a little too caught up in it and may regret some of it later. I think both Zac and Vanessa learn quickly tough. However, if one makes a little slip that can never be taken back and it is always that one thing people want to remember. Sometimes some people seem to want Zac to be the good upright boy that is different in Hollywood and so they really are critical of him if he strays off that mark just a hair. But maybe he may want to be or at least appear a lot more human and imperfect and that is his goal so as to be accepted in roles that are of flawed characters. I think he can be loved too much and Hollywood can say “Nobody is going to believe or accept you are the bad guy that robbed that store and killed 3 people. You’re fans will never go see a movie like that.” Does that make sense to anyone besides me? Hollywood is big in stereotyping people. You hear actors complain about it all the time. Even Vanessa—who took many hits for this last year(I keep saying how last year was not her year to make people happy) said last year how she heard so many times from casting people that she was too pretty to play this or that role. So, maybe Zac is trying not to be seen as so adorable. However, as has been pointed out by Boji and even you his actions when he is Zac tells a different story. So that is why I believe he deserves to be cut some slack.

I understand where you are coming from but people who spread gossip for a living will find something wrong with whatever Zac—and Vanessa for that matter—say. They will pick it apart and tell you what something means that they have said, add to it, subtract from it, whatever they have to do if they think they can get some story going that people will follow. We see it all the time. When the interest comes an end for that “gossip” or “scandal” they could care less what it has done to an actor’s reputation of how they are perceived. So, the bottom line is actors can never safeguard what they will say especially if they are “in demand”. It has not been that many months ago on a Vanessa thread that there were those who said she was fake and said she was never real in interviews. Some said she never said what she really felt. And some now think Zac says too much. That’s what I mean, there are always going to be somebody who thinks what either of them said was wrong in some way and could have been stated better. Me? I try to say things and Naomi always says it better…

@Karen: As much as I love them both, I think Vanessa is coming off as the more muture of the two. When faced with the same questions (which were made worst by Zac comments) she answered with dignity. This was not a spur of the moment comment, he was in an interview, he knows by now they are going to ask about his personal life, a simple “I don’t talk about my personal life” would have served better. He is no longer a child, he’s 21 and fully responsible for what he says. If when asked Vanessa had said something like “Well I plan in being married in the next 2-5 years with or without Zac” you would be one of the first worried about his feelings. While I’m sure he gave her a satisfactory explaination for his statement , that doesn’t nullify the fact he made them and knows what he says affects her.

You know how you would feel if your boyfriend made statements like that, but don’t assume you know how Vanessa was affected. Maybe Vanessa knew what he was going to say or maybe she didn’t. Maybe she told him she didn’t like what he said or maybe she told him I have no plans of marrying you, pal, so don’t worry about it.

My point is we don’t know anything about what goes on between them. We get candids from the paps, and then we fans assume the rest. Fans are placing their own insecurities, anger, disappointment on Zac and Vanessa, and when they don’t respond to our liking fans have long drawn discussion about something that none of our business.

OMG All of you that read what malia wrote on that blog are reading so much into it. I think she was being very harsh towards him, give the guy a break, your taking his life so personally.
