Vanessa Hudgens & Aly Michalka Think Reel
Vanessa Hudgens (in a Black Halo dress) and Alyson Michalka cozy up to costar Gaelan Connell at the Bandslam “Reel Thinking” event held at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (May 15).
The trio will lead and host a day at the museum for L.A. County students. The event will explore the music business through an interactive educational experience.
Bandslam opens in theaters on Friday, August 14.

I agree. It amazes me how many people seemingly get upset over the height issue. She is perfectly proportioned and curvy and beautiful no matter how tall she is! What is the big deal?? Plus, as I said before Hollywood somehow seems to have a distaste for someone too short and always makes them out to be taller—just like they did Tom Cruise for so long. Which is another good point…there are many leading actors in Hollywood who happen to be rather on the short side no matter what Hollywood tells us since you can’t tell on screen how tall they are. That means Vanessa will do very well with some of those “short” actors as she will make them look TALL—something the movie makers seem to want.
In the Golden Age of Hollywood there were many actors like Alan Ladd and Joan Crawford who were VERY tiny and yet their bios also read that they were 5′10 and 5′3. The facts are Ladd was actually only about 5′7 as these facts came out later after his death. Crawford who’s bio listed her the “standard” 5′3 which seems to be the thing if you are petite was really only about 5′ according to Anne Blythe—another Golden Age actress—and who worked with Crawford in the movie Mildred Pierce as her daughter. BTW, Crawford won her Oscar for a lead actress in that movie. So, Hollywood has a long history of making people “taller” than they really are. I don’t know why it is seen as a liability to be under a certain height. Ashley Tisdale readily admits she is VERY petite and Vanessa isn’t any bigger!

If you find her boring and useless maybe it is time to find another actor/actress to be a fan of because your feelings about Vanessa are a little suspect. Really it is OK. When you are rather young feelings change rapidly. That’s why when it comes to young stars like Vanessa their fan base changes a lot. People have made fun of her older fans in the past but it is those fans who will be around for a long time and be able to go with the flow as she changes and tries new things.
actually, I think aly and the other guy are just really tall. everyone else vanessa stands next to is either the same height or just about the same height as her, so it makes sense.
okay, Karen, why the hell are you getting all hype for? its just their height. everyone thinks what they want to think, just get over it. if people don’t want to believe you then whatever, who cares. seriously, immature people. grow up.
