Selena Gomez Hates The Word Hypocrite
Selena Gomez is almost done filming her new flick, Ramona and Beezus, in Vancouver but popped in on her MySpace to say a few words to her fans. Check out what the 16-year-old starlet had to say:
“The one thing I love about being connected with my fans is that i can grow with you guys. We are all going through lots of the same things and I love that i can relate to all of you. There is one thing that kind of hurts if I may share with you guys, a word that no one should be called when they are growing is… hypocrite.
“My reasoning behind me disliking this word is because I believe we are all changing, growing and learning new things about ourselves everyday. I don’t know about you guys but i feel like a complete different person from when I was 13, 14, and 15 and I’m pretty sure this feeling will occur again.”

“Things that we may have liked or loved one year ago may be things we won’t ever mention again and don’t want to either. I remember when I was 12 telling my friends I would never ever wear dresses because i thought they were too prissy. Now I own more floral dresses than pants. Or how I hated mustard and gagged at the sight of it, now I will not touch a hot dog without it. I also said that I would never fall in love until I was much older to really understand the word…..
“I am trailing off but my question for you guys is what have you said that may be completely different now? It’s an interesting conversation starter I must say. The bummer about that part for me is I kind of get documented saying it……….The number one thing in my life besides my family and friends is you guys and my job and I would love the chance to grow and CHANGE with you of course, that is if you allow me to…If you give me that chance i will be forever grateful. thank you. @Jessica: actually i think she meant him by that love line cuz her and tay have be going out - if they r even going out for probably only a month that’s way 2 fast for love so that’s y i think it could be nick. just hope she doesn’t still love him if it is so
@mafer: yeah me either i don’t understand how u go from omg she’s my best friend in the world love her even wrote a song for her 2 not so much but now i love miley. i’m not saying u can’t have more than 1 best friend but it just seem like she ditched selena. does anyone else get that vibe that they aren’t friends and if they r its like barely? and who do u guys think changed?
Selena was a very good role model to each of us who like her so much.
I admit she’s been very special for me. as my 2nd role model. I really like her so much.

Anyway, Selena proves here that she truly is amazing. Shes one of the stars that doesn’t get caught up in all of the fame. That in itself is pretty awesome.
& You can’t seriously hate her for dating Taylor if she is… I mean, just LOOK at the boy! And plus hes a sweetheart. Shes pretty lucky
well, sorry to all the mega selena fans, but she IS slightly hypocritical.. saying how she won’t date someone from entertainment business and now she’s dating taylor… she’s being hypocritical… but whatever, we’re all growing and it’s understandable.

Yeah me too on her twitter she’s always talking about miley how she misses her and loves her, personly i use to adore demi i thought she was so cute and she was diff then all the disney cru but lately she’s changed and if anyones a hippocrite it’s her i’m not gunna change in the lala land machine ya right!<< she changed her whole look and everything got tan. alot of my friends are saying that she uses evrybody to go up in the social climb The jonasbrothers and miley ecspecially i don’t believe she could do that…or could she?

I love Selena Gomez, she’s a great person to look up to in my opinion. I wish her the best of luck, and I think she should be happy with whoever. I dont see, I mean why don’t people realize, that even though you cuss her out just because of the guy she is dating, it WILL NOT stop her from dating him if she really likes him. People really should stop calling her “The Next Miley Cyrus” because she is her own person, she isn’t taking on the image of someone else.
