Newcomer Gaelan Connell gets sandwiched between hotties Aly Michalka and Vanessa Hudgens in the hot new poster.
Bandslam follows a high school outcast (Connell) bonds with a popular girl (Michalka) over their shared love of music and results in them assembling a rock group that looks to win their school’s upcoming battle of the bands competition.

Hm, so they changed the poster again. …I think they should change Gaelan’s picture…it looks kinda creepy. But anyway, every time I see this trailer, I get WAY too excited !! I’ve always thought of Vanessa as the shy sweet Gabriella Montez. ..Now, she’ll also be known as the dark emo Sa5m. Haha. Its so exciting to me. Love it !! Can’t wait !!

Oh, I like this poster much better than the one I saw last week which had V front and center. I got it from a marketing standpoint but it wasn’t very truthful as to what the movie is really about.
The movie is really Aly and Gaelen’s movie, they’re the main leads though Vanessa and Lisa Kudrow still play relatively lead roles but the movie isn’t about V’s character at all so I like that Summit is moving more towards promoting Aly and Gaelen.
I was going to see this movie anyway…just because of Vanessa but now i do think it looks like quite a good movie…when he throws her hat of at the end lol, so funny.
