Mary-Kate Olsen Joins Vanessa Hudgens in ‘Beastly’
Vanessa Hudgens must be more than excited — she gets to work side-by-side with one of her fashion icons — Mary-Kate Olsen.
Variety reports that Mary-Kate, 22, will join Vanessa and Alex Pettyfer in Montreal to film Beastly. She’ll be playing Kendra, a girl who places a curse on a Alex’s Kyle, who’s physically transformed into everything he despises.
Beastly, set in Manhattan, is about a popular kid with a mean streak who ditches a date. His date, Kendra, turns out to be a witch who curses him to become everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell. Shooting begins June 13 in Montreal.

Wow! This is definitely big news. I know Mary-Kate hasn’t done too much without Ashley and just that she chose this movie to be in says a lot. Mary-Kate is definitely a classic. Ah…wonder how many episodes of Full House Vanessa has watched her in : P

I summise she had to go down early to have fittings and have a read through of the final script with everyone involved. You sit around a big table with everyone involved in the project and read through it all. Vanessa will have lots to do, you know an actress doesnt just turn up and the day and shoot theres a lot of preparation before hand.
As for MK being in the movie, Its nice to see she is going back to films after focusing on fashion and tv for a while!

I have never cared for either of the Olsen twins and always felt that if they had not been so cute to the world when they were so tiny and on Full House that they would never have made it famous. I have never liked either of them for their clothes either. I think Vanessa has it all over either of them and they should be looking at her for inspiration! LOL But considering Vanessa is such a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley then I am so excited for her to be getting a chance to work with one of them. She should be having a lot of fun doing this movie. On the 11th of august i went into a store called Lulu Lemon and i’m pretty sure that i saw M-K. She was wearing a blue flowey dress and big sunglasses and as soon as i looked at her she looked away!
