Kristen Stewart Channels Joan Jett
Hiding her new haircut behind a Nuns With Guns gray hoodie, Kristen Stewart sets down a guitar case as she gets ready to leave a studio in North Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon (June 9).
The 19-year-old actress and costar Dakota Fanning have been busy rehearsing for their upcoming flick, The Runaways.
The Runaways tells the story of the 1970s teenage rock band responsible for hits “Cherry Bomb,” “Queens of Noise” and “Born to Be Bad.” The flick will also star Stella Maeve as drummer Sandy West.

well i don’t like eithr of them kristen is a little bit too childish(she dropped the prize at the mtv movie awards) and dakota…well …she is more childish than KS.i don’t think i will waitch the movie unlesss it has a good story.
i kinda like it ….(then again when it comes to her im very biased) im guessing theyre gonna hafta put extensions when they start shooting eclipse ….no way her hair is growin “bella lenght” that fast in 3 months…

I like her look here. It def. feels more like the style she wears. Dakota looks good as well. And to all the posters in general: Make sure you think about what you write before you post it. As said previously by dfksldfkj they aren’t going to stop acting because of your opinion. Although, I do have to say Dakota’s roles that she has landed before she brings them to a new potential and she is a very talented person. K-Stew is very good as well and I think she is improving with her acting. =)
@Cari: kristen got cast for this movie way before twilight came out so the hype that she has right now has nothing to with the casting directors picking her. kristen auditioned just like everyone else and she proved to them that she was the best fit. and kristen is a huge fan of the runaways and really admires joan jett so i have faith that she will do their story justice and deliver a dedicated performance.

Kristen is a brilliant actress- she didn’t get picked because she’s “IN” right now. She got picked because she’s got talent, she’s unique, and she can definitely rock the whole ‘joan jett’ attitude.
Give her a flipping chance for god’s sakes.
I think she really suits it, but my fav hair colour on her is BLONDE. Also does anyone know why she is looking upset lately and so is rob, I do and it is because thing s aren’t going well in their personal lives, so give her a break! You have no idea what is really going on behind the scenes!

i’d be hiding too, if someone had cut my hair into a jet black mullet.. KRISTEN..YOUSHOULD’VE REQUESTED FOR A WIG. this is so sad. i hate when hollywood hairdressers vut ppls hair short.f them.
