Zac Efron is Beading Cancer
Zac Efron gives a hug to a friend as he leaves Children’s Hospital of LA on Friday afternoon (June 12).
The 21-year-old actor wore an orange “I’m Beading Cancer” t-shirt to the visit. Zac seemed to have a great time making jewelry with the patients and their families.
Marnie Rocks Beading Cancer provides beading supplies to patients and their families so that they can have a creative outlet during their brief time at the hospital.

Hey, Zac. What’s going on. I am totally frustrated that you are not making more movies! Lots and Lots of talk about you but enough of the talk already. I love your work and want to see more of it. Very frustrating, my dear. So sign on the dotted line and let’s get some movies in the pipeline. Love ya.

@Susanna: yeah, and what about life and death of charlie st cloud? plz people, let zac the time to find the right projects, i do prefer wait some years to see a great movie which will help zac to become a respectable actor THAN to see more movies…but with no clues and substance!

Movies take time. Did you forget how long ago he filmed 17 Again? He started doing it right before he turned 20 years old and he is 21 now and we just got to see it two months ago. It isn’t even out of DVD yet! He then went off and did MAOW which we have yet to see and won’t see until October because it was an independent movie which takes even longer sometimes to get it out there for the public to see. Sometimes those come out in limited release once they do so you may not have a theater which will show it anyway!
Look at Vanessa, she shot her Bandslam movie the same time Zac was doing MAOW but it is being released in August—still a long time from when she filmed it. And I read how Beastly which she is filming now won’t be released until 2010 and Sucker Punch which she will be doing right on the heels of Beastly won’t even be released until 2011! So, you see even once the movies are shot it takes varying amounts of time for it to come to the big screen. SOOOO, be satisfied with information on Zac between movies. Brad Pitt doesn’t even have a movie coming out every other month but sometimes they do “stack up” depending on release dates. Zac will get there.

@Karen: You’re right, of course. Just venting because I see parts in movies and on TV and, it’s like I’m some talent scout, but I think that Zac would have been great in this or that role. So I’ll hang in there as advised:).

I believe all of us who are Zac fans or Vanessa fans are so anxious to see them in something other than the HSM stuff which some naysayers want to use against them even though those movies are VERY enjoyable and have a lot going for them. If that wasn’t true then there would have not been THREE of them nor would the last one been made a feature film —which btw brought in around $250 million dollars. People can make fun all they want but there was a reason for the success of those HSM movies.
But all of us are now wanting more and we want some of the talented actors from the HSM franchise to be seen by the masses as we the fans have seen them all along and weren’t afraid to admit. There are many who have seen HSM and the sequels and loved all of them but are too snooty to admit it…

So true, when I run into one of them I love to gush about the movies and sing the songs just to see them squirm…amazing how many of the words they know-LOL!
Zac is a great, compassionate guy, and it’s great to see that he still visits the kids in the hospital. Go Zac!

Zac and Vanessa for that matter are doing very good job not being seen together. I think Zac is in Canada right now with Vanessa. So perfect together. Can’t wait to see them at Teen Choice Awards
I would’nt be suprised if Zac does go and see her after this weekend mainly becuase it is Father’s Day so I would think that he would go and see his dad and then maybe get a flight from there that way avioding a lot of press, but either way when he does go which I’m pretty sure he will at some point before he starts his own film we won’t hear about it until maybe a photo comes out or a sightings is posted.
Lookingforward to the TCA.
I’m glad for Zac that he is having the down time that he obvioulsy wanted and maybe needed with all the craziness that surrounds him.
