Jesse McCartney pulls JJJ readers Alyssa and Courtney close as they snap a pic backstage at Jones Beach, New York on Friday night (June 12).

Alyssa writes to us about the concert, saying, “Last night my friend Courtney and I went to the NKOTB concert at Jones Beach, NY won meet and greet tickets for Jesse McCartney! There were about 30 winners through WBLI (radio station) and we were told to meet to the WBLI van at 6PM, but we didn’t line up to meet Jesse ’til 7PM and he was due on to perform at 7:30PM. So the meet and greet was very rushed.

“We were allowed to take picture with him but that was it. He shook our hands and introduced himself (like we didn’t know who he was!), took a picture, and he actually thanked us for taking a photo with him. Last time I went to a Jesse meet and greet was about 5 years ago when he wasn’t so popular, so it was very weird to have security all around and to be rushed like that.

“Jesse had an amazing concert & new dance moves to go along with it. He sang ‘Freaky’, ‘It’s Over’, ‘Beautiful Soul’, ‘Leavin’, ‘How Do You Sleep’, ‘In My Veins’ and ended up with ‘Body Language.’ He announced that ‘Body Language’ would be his new single this summer and he collaborated with T-Pain for it!”
