the reason why megan will most likely win over vanessa this year as opposed to last year is simple, last year vanessa and HSM was on a winning streak. the whole year was about them and keeping them in the public eye which in turn brought in alot of publicity for the cast. this year however, Transformers will have just come out and Megan Fox has been much more front and center than Vanessa. I REALLY dont think High School Musical is going to win anything, like at all. Maybe Zac will win an award but even that will be for 17 Again and not even HSM… I think the MTV Movie awards proved that the HSM Hype is dead and gone.

First of all, there are apparently 2 Karen’s and I’m the one that is around on the Zac and/or Vanessa boards all the time. This is my first post on here.

The thing about the TCA’s is you cannot be over 19 years old to vote. SO, if you are then you will have to basically lie to vote which means you will have to be able to do some basic math and know what year to put in as you birth year.

Second, these awards are somewhat rigged. But if you would all read the “fine print”—which most of you won’t—it says the winner will be chosen by the producers or whatever other big shot there is. However, I do think they take into consideration the person who got the most votes and simply drops taking into consideration the ones who get the least votes.

You who are having trouble voting it may be because there is an overload right now since today is the first day of voting. You can vote—I believe—until the last couple days before the awards show airs. So today is not the only day you can vote. And for your favorite to win you will have to continue to vote. Last year’s show the guy said they had more votes cast than they had ever had previously. This year it may be more than that and that is why it is hard for you to get in.

Lastly, for the Zac and Vanessa fans: Don’t just vote for them for liplock just because you want to see them kiss on stage. That’s unfair to them in a way as it is pressure that they don’t deserve. They are private people. SO, if they win and they don’t kiss—like the Twilight people didn’t at MTV awards—don’t get mad at them. Vote because you liked the kiss in HSM3 and not just because they are a couple in real life.

BTW, who came up with this favorite pet and baby award? Those have got to be the most ludicrous awards I’ve ever heard of. The baby thing should be dropped. It is not acceptable.

I’m voting for ANYTHING that has NOTHING to do with Twilight and High School Musical. Unfortunately since I don’t care about these awards…I’m only going to vote once but I know all the crazy 14 year old girls out there will vote a million times just like they did at the MTV awards. LAME!

well, i’m a twifan, twilight running through my blood literally! aha and you know what you high school musicals fans, because i completely get why you’d want hsm to win. it was a great trillogy that changed a generation. i mean, honestly, i have never been the biggest ‘Wildcat’ out there but HSM was a good movie. I’m still pretty much on a high since the mtv movie awards with twilight winning for all their categories. So even though i am only one voter in this huge voting system where thousands of teens like me will be voting, i will be voting for high school musical in all their categories in which they are nominated in. no this is not a pity vote or whatever, i believe hsm deserves this and i realize the twilight saga have the next 3 years and beyond to shine like ECullens sexylicious body So yes, even though I am one voter, I hope all you fellow twifans follow suit, lets be the good people and help our fellow fandom obsessors!
